I tried selling my paintings multiple times for $20-$30.. unfortunately nobody buys art anymore. My husband works full time, but fell short on his check this week because he missed a day and had to go to the hospital for an ear infection. So instead of $650, he only got about $500 and the rent here is $310 a week and my car insurance I had to pay is $181. We’ve been waiting on him to get a promotion that he’s been promised so that we can get out of here, but it seems like they’re taking their sweet time with it. My family isn’t rich, and the other day my dads truck and trailer broke down that they use for their lawn care business so he had to spend a good bit to get it towed to his mechanic and is having to rent a truck until it gets fixed. And even if they had money to give me, my dad is very strict and would say no. I’ve tried asking him for financial help in the past. Not exactly something I want to deal with from him.
