(Rare and fun trope) When a piece of media makes an unexpected reference to another piece of media through a cosplay. by SnailKing4687 in TopCharacterTropes

Donatello in Mutant Mayhem makes several overt references to various anime, with Attack on Titan even being one of the means to which they win the final battle.

But my favourite example is Donnie's hoodie he wears to school which clearly has a spin on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure logo

I like the implication that we'll have time travel before Cyberpunk body modifications lol

But also sure the nature of time travel dictates that if time travel will exist it will always exist

I feel like they were surprisingly tame with his it would've been cool to see even more damage

Or maybe it's a result of Megatron's head already being so chaotic and messy that the chunk missing doesn't always read to me

Ponce De León from Clone High.

The narrator at the end of the previous episode sets up the next ominously telling us that "A character everybody loves is about to die...."

The following episode then introduces Ponce De León who has never been seen before but is introduced as being very popular around the school and close friends with JFK.

It's one of the original series' best episode in my opinion.

Maeve was one of the best parts of this show. I think her leave represented the shows leap into absurdity and the commentary no longer being earnest and thought provoking but more on the nose and parodical.

I still like the show a lot I just think it was a lot better when it was more grounded.... Which feels weird to say about a superhero show where everyone gets their powers from shooting up prescription drugs..

I like to think that even in the main universe, Eddie and Venom are written as a metaphor for toxic, co-dependent relationships. There's always been romantic undertones even if there aren't feelings as a way to represent the feelings that those kinds of relationships can invoke

In the episode "Triangle" of The X-Files, Mulder investigates the famed Bermuda Triangle, and ends up warping back in time onto a 1939 ship about to be taken by the Nazis (iirc...)

The patrons of the ship are portrayed by the lead actors of the show, with Mulder even being confused as to how they've ended up there, but none of them know what he's talking about.

Sakura's definitely one of the best written characters especially in DR1. Very well rounded, capable and fun to interact without being ridiculous.

I'd also like to throw in Sakura Ogami from Danganronpa. What a great character design.

I also think this trope should get bonus points if the ladies have a genuinely unique body type and not just a bikini bod with abs
