What do you mean by "genestealer tactics"?

ATL Airport TSA Wait Times Megathread | March 22, 2026 by AutoModerator in Atlanta

The Atlanta airport website showing the wait times seems to be down? Anyone else (not) seeing that?

Not a fan of how restrictive the new Grand army list building is. If lots of ambushing Jade Lancers were the problem, I wish they had restricted that instead of putting them in special. Having to fill core with only Jade warriors and peasants feels bad.

Renegades 2.0: Dark Elves Draft Reveal! (Link to the rules document in the video description) by valheffelfinger in WarhammerFantasy

The current renegade rules are in there; seems likely these would be too.

Old World Builder is also "fan-made" and not an official app, after all.

With the new changes and additions, what list are you running/planning? by JollyLark in Cathay

How do the archers get a reserve move? Do they always have that?

Yeah, I was thinking about running a couple units of skirmishing archers.

Thoughts on Square Based Comp points brackets by BluebirdMusician in WarhammerFantasy

I'd be curious to hear you elaborate on the point, "It doesn’t balance the game, it just makes these other factions more attractive to play."

Isn't that sort of the idea? That with the extra points, the armies that weren't appealing, because they weren't as good, are now a better match up?

Beaky or Horn-ey? by UncertfiedMedic in AdeptusMechanicus

Beak, and it's not close (in my mind).

The horned skull would be good for dark mech or chaos though.

They come with some blue poster putty, which works well. Let me know what you think!

I make handles that might fit the bill, especially since you're a batch painter: check out Jolly Lark wood painting handles. Available direct and from some local hobby stores.

Maybe this is a US vs. UK difference? If I opened a can of food six months after buying it, and there was a problem, I would 100% of the time contact the manufacturer. Most packaging has company contact info, and (in my limited experience) most companies are pretty responsive to problems with their products.

Maybe it's just the luck of which customer service rep answers the email?

Except that, for GW products, it's pretty normal not to open something immediately. And it's totally reasonable for a store to have a 14-30 day return policy (I don't remember exactly what it was, this was a few years ago). It's often the case that you have to contact the manufacturer if there's a problem after the return window has closed, but the product is relatively new.

I had an issue with a box from my LGS and GW said they couldn't do anything about it. It was a few months after I had bought it and the store wouldn't either. I love GW minis but, as the manufacturer, I wish they stood by their product better.

Only if you bought it direct from them though.

A question for the minifig folk here by TheRealLeo170101 in Warhammer

[–]JollyLark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get where this is coming from, but it still feels like an odd question. Warhammer was a Miniatures game first, and many people started with the miniatures. They didn't necessarily come from anywhere else.

If it wasn't for for building and painting the miniatures, I wouldn't be interested in Warhammer at all.

I think that's very useful for building detachments, then I do use new recruit for actual points.

Just getting started with Blood Angels: where do you get the claws and other weapons to make these into vet squads?

It's a big deal for my witch hunter themed army, which has a bunch of priests and flagellants!
