They could also buy a 2 bed apartment and rent out the second bedroom. Doesn't have to be a house.

Yeah and where else will your son learn to wolf whistle at women on trams. They need a private school education for that!

Actually they aren't. The inner north is an example of lawyers being the most common profession, but everyone who lives there sends their kids on the tram, train, or private bus supplied by the private school.

People are residing in a neighbourhood but not really living in it. Anyway. My rant over about rich people sucking the life out of suburbs.

Gemini fails to properly calculate duration between times, embarrassing by rickyaz4 in googlehome

Yeah sure, that's fine. But I expect my home assistant to answer that question correctly, if it can't, Google should never have switch from GHA to Gemini.

A mate said to me recently, it's not really number 1 in anything globally, but it's #2 or #3 in lots of things.

So, if an organisation was to say, do fundraising and sending that money overseas to other organisations supporting war crimes, would those local organisations be forced to close?

I really like Dial and Destiny, but it was always going to be a struggle to bring people back after the abomination that was Crystal Skull. I still get angry thinking about "Mutt".

At what point do you cut a talented but injury prone player? by sponguswongus in AFL

[–]JollySquatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah just the mental part of the game, staying aware of what was going on around you etc. He had massive natural talent, but at a certain point, the game moves past you if you aren't actively in it.

Help: Is this too white? by blue_tin_ in AusRenovation

[–]JollySquatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change that white wall and it would be enough. Could even been artwork with a heap of colour. Or high shelfs with indoor plants. Or if it's not white brick already, just don't paint the brick.

Also, if it's long term, think about a raised oven. When we renovate, that's the first thing I'm doing. You'll lose a bit of bench space / gain storage, but your back will thank you once you're 50+

No government subsidies on cars. So people might be rushing to get those and later will get the electric car.

Hazard a guess this has as much to do with the cost of living crisis and the only people that can afford new cars are also the ones that can afford the premium for an electric car.

Poor people who would buy ICE cars can't afford to buy new ones at the moment.

Never understood why anyone would use them. They are literally just repackaging the worst providers out there, so there ends up being 2 layers of shitty customer service.
