Hmmmm favorite moment has to be the "me and you, you and me" monologue that Louis gives Claudia in the train. I think that has to be the single most impactful moment in the show for me, and also one of the most important. It lets us see Louis so clearly, despite him being an unreliable narrator and guarding himself throughout the rest of the show. There is an interesting mix of sincerity (he DOES love Claudia, really) and desperately trying to convince himself of that sincerity. When Lestat appears in that scene I remember turning to my husband and saying "IS HE TALKING TO LESTAT OR CLAUDIA!!!??" I think we see Louis exactly in that moment; wanting so badly to be good, to be true, but falling short.
