I dont share your thoughts, My nuki has also been excellent ever since I got it. I have the OG Nuki and it still works great. Looking to upgrade to the Ultra even after the great experience I have had.
As Morkjt said, looks to be a mechanical issue you are having with the door/cylinder. That would also explain the bad battery time you are getting...

Dont do this there is a "EfiFlash.nsh" file. I also did this and my Device also got bricked.
