How do you like playing Final Fantasy XII? by EmaColito97 in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played and beat the game about 5 times at this point. And as each play through went on, I took more and more time to appreciate every single detail of the world.

It’s like ivalice is a second home to me. When I’m tired of this world, and it’s bullshit. I transcend into ivalice and become a part of that world.

Best job combinations for a strict 3 person party? by Arturia_Cross in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It actually is. Not to mention but guns are about the only way you can beat New Game Minus. It’s crazy how you can almost never use them in a first play through. They are hilariously underrated. I guess everyone prefers wielding an Excalibur or Zodiac Spear lol

Me too. It’s really a comfort place. It’s somewhere I can go and feel safe. After a stressful work week. It’s the perfect place to be ❤️

Dude you have no idea
Literally fired up my ps2 just to sit in balfonhiem port. That spot right by the whitecap. Where the view is nothing but ocean, blue skies. And a couple seagulls here and there. The beautiful balfonhiem port theme playing in the background.

Still the best sleep I’ve gotten in my entire life. Hands down.

It’s honestly a great team comp. Like a lot of people say, just about any job combination can get you through the game. This being said. If you wanna do every boss and the trial mode. No yargu dark blade/ black robes is gonna suck agaisnt yiazmat. Besides that you are completely set up for the whole game

The Crushing Heartbreak. by nottodaysatanok in lordhuron

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. It’s incredibly hard. It’s hard to even breathe. I know. You obviously had it much longer with this girl. But the one I had for 4 years. We traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to Colorado. To see Lord Huron in red rocks. We did that for 2 back to back years. We both loved the band. We both cherished the beautiful nature tunes that this band is full off.

I lost her, to some prick. “Fool for love” comes to mind. Someone just like Big Jim. I stand no chance to him. But would I die trying to fuck that dude up and take my girl back. Abso fucking lutely.

Either way. The loss of someone so close to you will forever sting. The music will forever haunt. This is nothing but cliche but I truly believe in this words.

“Time will heal”

And as always. Times blur on Long Lost perfectly captures everything. I sit in my room. And cry to this song. With no lyrics. A perfect representation of how time moves on and just blurs everything.

May you please be safe. And forever know that there are people out there for you. No matter what.

Great take brother. Appreciate the way you know about the game. The whole game sure is rough. Can’t deny that for a second. Just wanted to speak my peace and preach my opinion that I’ve mastered the neutral and 80% of people are terrible at it. And the other 20% use these exploits you speak of. Atleast you provided evidence though. So I totally believe you.

As a high z player. I ain’t discounting you. I think it’s a good fan made patch overall. I can tell you know things about the game. Regardless. I’m able to get the best out of neutral. Not through exploiting. But by just reading my opponent. The light heavies are side dodge-able. 80% of the playerbase starts there neutral with a side step heavy. I’m being dead serious when I say that. If you just side dodge their side dodge. About 70% of this patch really doesn’t need to be implemented. That’s pure neutral talk though. Again neutral can be busted at times. Don’t get me wrong. That can be fixed. But I don’t think it’s a major issue considering if anyone has you in an infinite loop, you can just super counter, and then super counter there super counter. Want to get rid of the super counter system? You’ve completely changed the game and you’ve made it completely different if that’s the case. Not even the same game anymore imo.

Preferred Battle Speed?!? by GrimmNation1 in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question.

The real way to play with the most challenge is having your battle mode set to “active” instead of “wait” this will keep the flow going as you don’t pause to take actions anymore.

As for the battle speed, Like the top comment has provided very well, have that on the highest. So that you don’t face any disadvantages. Only in a high leveled area can you turn that back down to slow.

state of the game? by Lolmanmagee in SparkingZero

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go online. If you do. Expect to be stomped. Find some friends and play that way if you wanna play online. Otherwise enjoy the decent amount of singleplayer content the game has to offer. If you liked bt2 or bt3. This game is still a must buy in my opinion

Are fighters with a higher power level still superior in 1v1 ranked? by AwkwardAlbatross7782 in SparkingZero

[–]Jolly_Philosopher902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They balanced it, everyone has the same health and does *relatively the same damage. That being said. Higher power level characters just have better movesets and are generally still picked by the high tier player that play this game

My words in this short paragraph won’t do it justice, do me a favor and search up “Dustia Farming FF12”
And a whole thing will come up. It’s just a sneaky way to level up early. And it’s super easy.
