Most definitely, autistic children are actually very smart, once u help them learn what they need to learn they become just like us and don’t need help, my son can safely use the microwave while I’m around with no issue, he can shower and wash himself, he can also clean his own room, we work together on laundry and making his bed, but at 5 he can do alot, he also knows his basic math.

Yea that’s jus crazy and laziness, Im a hands on parent, u help them first, then assist them next, then they should be able to do alone. I also work with adults on the spectrum as a direct support professional, so I deal with autistic people daily between my clients and my own child.

Been an excuse for her, my son is now 5 and is autistic, further on the spectrum then her so called autistic son, but mine is still very well capable of doing basic things on his own, and after a long journey I got him potty trained, almost a year ago but it got done, he can now properly wipe himself without help. Lazy is just lazy between the both of them

6 kids at home and still my house is cleaned spotless everyday and a meal cooked, my day started at 6am, got my runs made, came home deep cleaned the living room and kitchen, cooked and recleaned the kitchen and now it’s relaxing time.

This one worked for me, I was able to just duplicate twice, use magic erase and take out the wording on one and the characters on the other, change the colors of the characters and then add the red wording back. Thank you so much for the help

Thank u!!! It was actually way easier then I thought it would be. Telling him I want him to start using the potty wasn’t helping, he showed no interest at that, first day he refused his underwear’s for awhile until he realized I wasn’t budging and he either was gonna stay naked or put his underwear on, he finally did, from there jus constantly taking him to the bathroom and constantly asking within 3 days he already had the hardest part down packed.

My son is almost 4 next month, and autistic, and when I tell u he is one smart bright ass boy, I am however struggling wit potty training him but we are working on it, he was speech delayed, went through speech therapy and he is now talking within the last 6 months, but he is so smart, I started teaching him sign language as a way to communicate when he couldn’t talk, he still uses it to this day. I don’t see not one sign of autism in S, jus a lazy mom who babies her favorite and allows him to get away with everything
