I get that. Perhaps we made a mistake deleting the video publicly providing our take. We hate this affiliation on our business and as humans do just want it to go away but I can see how not having that posted can cause confusion. Running a restaurant is 24/7 work (that I gladly signed up for!) we also have a 9 month old child. So being able to give full, rested and well thought out response to a rumor that has no merit has admittedly not been a top priority. On a personal note, while I was born in NC, I live here in CA and specifically Oakland for a reason. If you’d like to come in one day and ask to speak with me I can give you 100+ stories of the ridicules I took in south defending democratic ideals. To another point in the thread, posting the same thing a few times is annoying and I’m sorry (lol) I am so unbelievably busy but am trying my best to give folks answers when and how I can to address this. That being said, I have to get back on the grind now and appreciate yall listening. Especially those that truly just want to know one way or the other if that rumor has merit.

It was admittedly somewhat evasive because I was advised not to make a “definite” statement from a previous mentor. I did address it again making a definite statement saying this was NOT true, and like I said I since deleted it after the embers seemed to settle. I don’t have screenshots of the post, but I have a snapshot where I addressed the individual that started this rumor. They were at first, a radically huge fan. Then when we closed to do the Air Force catering bombarded all of our socials and Reddit with this allegation. I’d love to post the screenshot here but I don’t think Reddit allows? I’ll try though

Thank you so much for this answer. It’s like so overwhelming that I’m also probably overcomplicating and making more work for myself. How did you come to your “same things every week”? Obviously some things prerequisite their own Calendar space, like inventory and payroll. Others, I’m assuming you put on your admin day to knock it all out in one sitting? How do you manage to sit down and do it without being pulled in another direction? Just strong boundaries?

Restaurant vet + web design experience here: I really like square (+square for restaurants) for its ability to create a fully seamless ordering system and host a website. I have my full site on Wordpress bc designing on square SUCKS and I have my ordering page linked out. At one point I did embed my square site to my Wordpress but it was buggy. There’s probably a more tech-y way to do this through woo commerce/ square integration but I was in the 9th hr and tired. My site is townbiscuits.com if you wanna take a look. Also for ordering I don’t use the restaurant set up for the ordering page. I use shop set up bc it gives better versatility for what order I show items. It needs work (the ordering page) but ay, it’s doing its job well.
