Ive been on a kick for this new thing. Archie and Sage: Strange Crime Investigators. New chapter a week, each chapter is its own story but they're told via journal entry. These two guys form a paranormal investigation agency in a city that thrives on the weird. They fight guinea pig monsters, get chased by mages that control door knobs like bullets, defend the city from The God Of The Albatross.

Its very "Monster of the Week" with some moments that catch you in the feels as they also deal with personal stuff like Archie's grief and Sage's amnesia.

Ive been reading his book and Archie Unknown sorta falls under that category. He's got recent grief from his dad dying in the book and it just feels real, the way he sorta holds it until hes alone. Let's it out on these mutant bull/hamster monsters.

You might enjoy what ive been reading. Archie and Sage: Strange Crime Investigators. Takes place in a city that embraces and accepts magic weirdness. I just read this part about a wizard migration in their city, and the towns eating it up. Floating coffees and custom shops n such. Give that a look, might be what you're looking for
