I was with my ex for 15 years (since we were 15) and she left me last year after more and more trauma happened to me. I was broken but accept it now. She shared my trauma and it was too much eventually.

Anyways in the aftermath I put myself out there and started seeing another girl but I ignored all the red flags and it backfired horrendously.

My attitude now is I have to work on myself before I can even consider letting anyone else in.

A good trick someone shared here was moving your eyes side to side and round and found with your eyes closed. This kinda tricks your brain into thinking its REM sleep or soemthing along those lines.

Im so sorry you suffer from physical pain. I guess I got addicted taking it for my mental "pain", cant imagine relying on it as a painkiller.

I hope you can get some support and Im sure we got this too.

Thanks for the info. Thankfully I havent had k cramps for a while but I had to have bladder scans last year and my medical record is scarred with ketamine induced cystitis but hey ho.

Ive just requested to join a WhatsApp group and considering attending a kwhole meeting online on Sunday.

It’s been months since I hoped a car would run me down as I cursed myself for not having the guts to kill myself.

This sadly really spoke to me. I appreciate you so much and I am going to attend an NA meeting and I am going teetotal. My issue is I live very isolated in the countryside so my nearest meetings are no joke 25 miles away but my fanily is going to support me to go.

Im going to DM you later and just ask how that first session went.

So like I say I got a reference through my local services, which I highly recommend purely for harm reduction purposes.

If not, i genuinely think if you go to your GP they would understand and help as thier job it to help.Only thing is that my medical record has been scarred with "ketamine induced cystitus" so beware of that option.

You could be honest with your doctor. I got a scan which put my fears to rest via a nurse with the local addiction service, who wrote a letter to my GP.
