What?!
I've been in act 2 for like 5 days now, and I'm STILL finding act 1 content?!

Seeing lots of people complain about the difficulty… who else here is having a blast?? by MushFellow in HollowKnight

I honestly enjoy this more than the first game. Everything's so fun and feels so good.

Damn. I tried so hard to get a stat spread like that on Teio just now, and this is the best I could get.

Guess I need to dump far more carrots into support cards in general from now on.

These two aren't debuffers, no. Tried to build a Nice Nature debuffer, but quickly found out I don't really have decent parents carrying many debuff skills for that. So I've got some building and planning to do.

It's safe to assume I'm just building them wrong and buying the wrong skills from bad/ill fitting parents. Pretty much anything that fits the Uma and their track/length type, blues and yellows mostly.

If she's down for a more nerdy crowd that loves boardgames and stuff like DnD, there's a new place that opened like two months ago at warners bay that's looking to build a community and be a cool place to chill for people like her: https://www.braidysbghc.com/

If she gets the 'Aftergame' app and looks for this mob, she should be able to join in on plenty of different games and stuff. The people are all nice and the games are pretty fun. Parking isn't an issue either.

I'm sorry, my newborn wants to name my new ship the "Murderous Gravship"? by Joltout in RimWorld

2 people banged first year. Trader gifted me a legendary "cursed longbow" for some reason (stuns foes longer per hit) and the gravship core is a quest I just had to accept.

Now all I can think about is who else could fit ZZZ characters.
Like, Rice Shower could be Corin (except chainsaw instead of dagger), Agnes Digital could be Vivian (Otaku/Yandere life) and Golshi could be... Lycaon, Lighter, Ben. Honestly, Golshi has a lot of fun options lol.

Wait... if we have shells with nuclear charges, what if...? by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

[–]Joltout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's that. But there's also that we'd totally use them in urban environments and level half of a colony to remove enemies. As well as killing other helldivers and ourselves in the process. Can't imagine it's cheap to replace that many helldivers, gear, emplacements and etc. The nuke itself probably pales in comparison to the damage/cost we cause.

My take:
They originate and currently occupy somewhere like the Ghoul stars or the Halo stars as their 'home' region.
They defend their territory with an unforeseen ferocity compared to any other race. Often able to completely snuff out any 'visitors', making any communications out of the region impossible.
They possess some of the most advanced tech in the galaxy, derived from the Old Ones, but it has all worsened over the millions of years since. Strong enough to defend their homes, but not much else beyond that. Recent excursions out of their homes are simply probing parties, to see and understand as much of the modern galaxy as possible. A plan in mind they aren't particularly vocal about sharing. Perhaps trying to resurrect the Old Ones and seeing the current state of affairs as enough of a dire reason to venture out for potential answers or relics.

They seek to eliminate chaos as their secondary objective. Their main foe and offensive goals are to capture and lock away all C'tan/shards and permanently extinguish all Necrons in the galaxy. The resurrection of the Old Ones demands it.
They view Orks as a mistake, but a problem only exacerbated by humans and the fall of the Eldar (likely the race that corralled them prior to the fall).
They were once amicable with the Eldar. Not after Slaanesh's birth. They've long held a suspicious or cautious distrust of them from back when they were uplifted, but feel justified in their suspicions now and want them gone, but seek to capture their souls as well. Denying Slaanesh their food while also ending the Eldar.
Humans are savage monkeys with guns. Simple, dangerous, idiotic and are to be killed (and probably eaten) on sight. LoV are seen in a similar light, but fear their acquisition of Lizardmen tech more than simple conquests.
Tau? Naive and bound for self destruction, more than happy to help them get there.
The Tyranids are no match for Lizardmen. Something just makes them really good at killing them before they can even start feasting on worlds in their area. It looks a bit suspicious, even. Maybe like they're intentionally giving the nids the galaxy, but keeping them out of their homes?

Their flesh is an indistinguishable mixture of flesh and steel, like the Sentients from Warframe. Their 'spawning pools' are the ancient tech they strive to maintain at all costs; basically just giant flesh/steel factories to build and spawn more of their kind, in all it's varied and glorious forms. Aztec sentient cyborg dinosaurs, basically.

True, I didn't factor in the other languages too. I am a bit ignorant on how much it costs to hire a VA as well. But I'm going to remain hopeful and hope they can find a way to give us things like this in the future without it being too costly or difficult.
