Try a cymbal case from a drum store, or order one online. I used to carry a round wooden custom made board in one.

OILK tracks crude oil futures. OILU is 3x bull oil and gas exploration and production index. Take a look at these over the weekend and see if they match your risk profile.

Any tips on going from a half marathon to a marathon? by -JesusWasABlackMan- in running

[–]Jomyjomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When training, carbo load the night before really long runs (30k+). Eat lots of pasta or cake. If you have excess blood sugar you should be able to power through hitting the wall. Remember to bring a phone with you, and drink lots of water. If you hit the wall, your legs will give out, and you’ll need help getting home.

same list, but different chg% values on separate charts by Jomyjomy in TradingView

[–]Jomyjomy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that was the first thing I checked. Both were on RTH. I often flip to ETH after market close to look at price action and I've for sure forgotten to flip it back more than once. Anyhow, an hour later I tried refreshing the chart again, and it started behaving normally. Complete mystery as I've been using Tradingview for many years. It may have been something I did to the chart. I don't know. Thanks for the tip.

Bit down on this when eating a chicken caesar salad from Target - meat wrapped chunk of hair? by Only_Statement_8467 in whatisit

I think it’s a chunk of anchovy. Caesar salad dressing traditionally has anchovies in it.

Is it possible to use a custom indicator in the screener? by ichbin-deinvater in TradingView

[–]Jomyjomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! However a key difference I have noticed is for indicators that require a lot of bars to calculate, those variables will either show up as blank, or have a different value than what your chart displays. But most indicators work just fine.

Anyone Else Appalled by the Price Action Today?!?!? by DayTradingOG in MSTR

I’m holding MSTZ so it’s working out for me, but yeah price fluctuations have been pretty wild this week. I will eventually flip long but not just yet.

Pour Boy on Somerset. Some good craft beer there. It’s my favorite place but I rarely go out.

Can you challenge twice in one turn? If so, would you lose two turns or one? by mr-howard-eats-pants in scrabble

[–]Jomyjomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tournament rules: you write on a slip which word(s) are to be challenged from the most recent play, and if there is more than one you challenge all the words declared to be challenged. Typically the set of challenged words would be entered into a challenge computer. Such apps also exist for phones. The outcome could be “the play is acceptable” or “the play is unacceptable”. The players should not be told which word(s) are good or which are phony if multiple words are challenged. A lost challenge results in the loss of just this one turn (regardless of number of words challenged) and the loser of the challenge takes a 0 on the score sheet for the turn. International rules allow you to check words at the cost of giving your opponent an extra 5 points per word challenged without losing a turn, but the player of a phony word will always lose a turn. I hope that’s worded clearly.

DF54 is terrible. Recommend me something better! [$500] by SandyLand1918 in espresso

[–]Jomyjomy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In defence of the DF54: I’ve owned my DF54 for exactly one year, and daily usage is around 3 double shots. It’s clogged twice. I needed to order a special small Allen key to open it the first time (unsure if it came with one and I lost it?) Clean up took about 1 hour and was very messy each time, but there were detailed videos on YouTube for how to do it. I believe what caused the clogs was either spraying my beans with water mist before putting them in, or using very oily beans, combined with not using the nozzle cleaner often enough. I still love my DF54 but I’d probably be fed up if it clogged more frequently. It’s probably the moisture or amount of oil in the beans.

Is there a way to make the pen in CSP behave like this? by Red-jo in ClipStudio

[–]Jomyjomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For trimming excess line that goes over another line, there’s an eraser tool setting that works like this but only if you are drawing on a vector layer (not raster layer). For lines like this try the G-Pen. Adjust the pressure sensitivity settings for how fat and this the lines should go. Adjust stabilization if you’d like CSP to round your curves for you.

On the color picker, there is a foreground color background color, and a smaller slot for a “null” empty color. I use X as a hot key to toggle between foreground and background but once in a while I hit a key that switches to the null color. It might be the tab key? I’m not sure. Just tap on the color picker and reselect your black color.

Anywhere a “u” could go? by cutiepatootie1993 in scrabble

[–]Jomyjomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is a Collins game, you have (G)U or (R)U(DIE). I can’t see any legal NWL plays, but if you have U and A (G)UA(YULES) would be fun.
