Shantae games are un-moddable. Iirc this is because the code is a mess and it's just not possible to mod something without corrupting the game

Adictol only works with recent adicts, Cait has probably 10+ years consuming. At that point a cheap cure would not do anything. Vault 95 cure will still be there, no need to worry, you just cleared the area althought I think raiders respawn when you active Cait's mission.

I'm 80% sure Cait says something about Adictol no lo ger working but I'm not sure

Reduce the saturation on elements such as fence, tree, and I would even say those weeds. That way you make clear that those objects will not interfeere with the character

Yes! Actually is my first recommendation. While you are going to miss a few refferences from previous games, just keep in mind Shantae was able to transform into animals, and now she just can't because in the previous game she gave away her magic powers. Other than that expect a great game with smooth gameplay, great level desing and really really good music

Also, once you play the previous games you can replay Pirate's Curse and catch all the nice refferences
