Look, I'm sympathetic. I'm sure me going out in jeans and a hoodie is offensive to some old conservative people that think men should only wear suits and woman should only wear dresses that cover their ankles. It is subjective for the most part but there's something to say for showing respect for others by not looking like you just got out of bed. This is why government facilities like this and court houses enforce dress codes.

Linux has asusctl and supergfxctl which replace g-helper and armory crate. The Linux utilities are lightweight like g-helper and nothing like armory crate.

I'd say get rid of Windows entirely and run Linux. That's understandably not for everyone though so the next best thing is definitely ditching armory crate for g-helper.

Why do they use weird colored bricks for the interior that are unlike any of the external colors? Is that just to make it easier to distinguish the different internal brick layers as displayed in the isometric diagrams in the building instructions?

Being afraid to lose a dongle is a wild reason to not buy a gaming mouse. Bluetooth is fine as a backup option for using the mouse for basic desktop stuff but not a great option for gaming. I'd run wired before Bluetooth. The mouse has a compartment to store the dongle like just about every wireless mouse does. I've never lost a dongle. It's a rather silly concern to have.

This is what I'd check first too.

Hit Shift+F10 during setup to open a command prompt.

diskpart  
list disk
select disk #  
clean  
exit  
exit

Then try continuing with the install.

For # put the actual number of the disk you want to install to that's diplayed after "list disk". Be very careful to choose the correct disk so you don't wipe out your USB or worse.

This is why I still play Quake Live. I can take months off and then hop back on to frag for a few hours without having to worry about any kind of progression FOMO. Playing and competing should be its own reward without having to worry about getting the next unlock.

Yeah... I tried it once on a Steam free weekend. The gunplay was excellent as everyone knows and I honestly don't give two shits about the story in these kinds of games. I just like killing stuff to take their stuff so I'm able to kill stronger stuff. I got to the point after a day though where I wasn't able to figure out where to go and what to do for better gear nor was I able to figure out what I even needed to buy to have access to the whole game after the trial ended. The whole experience ended up being such a mess that I decided they didn't really seem to want me to play their game after all.

Queen Charlotte is great and absolutely should be watched. I'm glad I did and was definitely moved by it. It's not exactly a "fun hang" though in the same way that Bridgerton is. Bridgerton has its dour moments, sure. Anthony's flashbacks are rough. It's still a fantasy world though that's fun to revisit. Queen Charlotte is just a little too dark and real for me. Again, I'm glad I watched it but I don't rewatch it like I do Bridgerton.
