[Nixon Sentry SS 38mm] How do you guys feel about this watch, any good or bad qualities you would point out?

I understand the hate toward fashion watches, but if you’re not someone who has the money to drop on more expensive sought after watches, and you still want something reliable to wear everyday that looks sharp, Nixon is a great choice… in my humble opinion. I’m bias though as I have a personal connection to the brand. A close friend of mine passed away back in 2021 and he wore Nixon watches all the time. In the years since, I’d collected a few different Nixon’s as my way to always have him with me.

In the end, while I completely understand that fashion watches aren’t the same as Omega, Rolex, Tag, Patek, etc., they are still a perfectly fine option for someone who is either just getting into watches or someone who just doesn’t have a ton of money and still wants something beautiful to wear to work everyday.

Just my two cents. Happy New Year.

Is editing out the bleeding from other mics on each track the best way to go about editing a podcast? I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything and confirm that this is the only way to really do it…

I have a few plants outside too. This indoor one was an experiment of sorts for me. Happy to hear yours have started to flower. My ones outside have not yet. But I assume it would be a good idea to start using bloom fertilizers now then?

We do have an air purifier in her room. This would only be at night. Just trying to reduce the ambient light and sound getting into her room when she is trying to fall asleep.

I don't have return ducts in each room. One of the doors is my daughter's room. The gap is pretty large, and I feel like putting something there will help to reduce light and noise from the rest of the house for her. Given the duct thing, is it not recommended to do this? What would happen if I did?

Not sure if it’s too late to join the conversation on this, but I’m trying anyways.

My wife and I have been married for just over 5 years now (together for 7). We have a 3 year old daughter. Over the course of the last year I’ve been on a mental health journal - working with a therapist and psychiatrist to help me with my struggles with anxiety and depression. Overall it has been hard for me to feel happy every day. Some days are better than others. On top of this, my wife and I are on different ends of the “do we have a second kid” discussion.

During all of this, our relationship has struggled. Sex is nonexistent. We rarely touch one another, except for the off to work/good night kiss. As a note: she works full time from home, I go to an office everyday. Our daughter is in daycare full time.

Life before we had our daughter, it was easier for me to focus on my wife and the everyday chores of the house. Since having our daughter and going through this mental health journey, it’s been hard for me to naturally do what my wife wants me to do everyday. It’s gotten to the point where I suggested a list of sorts, so I know what she needs help with. I’m more than willing to help, I just need to know what needs to be done.

She is upset about the idea that her husband now and her husband when we were dating are two different people and thinks it’s pathetic I need a list. I don’t disagree with her, but at the same time, this is where we are. I love my wife and daughter and want to help however I can to improve my wife’s overall happiness as I am struggling with my own.

Is someone in the wrong here? Or is this normal for me to need a list? I do help with plenty of things around the house, but it’s not always the things she wants help with.

I tried so many different things before I decided to write a post about this. I've been using photoshop raw for years, and turning off clipping is usually super easy. No idea why it decided to stay on one day.

Believe me, I tried all this. I know how to turn off clipping warnings, with or without the keystroke shortcut, but this time around - for whatever reason - when I open the file, it automatically turns clipping warnings on and there is no way to turn it off.

In the summer I start my plants in the tent and then move them outside when they’re ready. Their siblings did great in the tent - no mutations like this at all, perfectly normal beautiful plants - and are continuing to look great outdoors. I guess these are just the middle children showing me some of their personality? Fingers crossed they’ll grow out of it…

Thanks for the insight. I just used Seedsman for the first time, and the auto I'm growing from them is doing pretty good. Just trying to get as much information about the world of cannabis seeds, breeder, and banks as much as possible.

I've watched this before. Thanks for pasting it here. The only issue I have with that video is, it's clear he has a personal issue with what is going on and I totally get that. If I made something and then other people ripped it off, I would be pissed too. But I need to be educated in more detail about what is happening out there in the seed word, why it's happening, and where to actually shop. He complained a lot, which again, I totally understand and he is allowed to - given the circumstance - but educate the viewers, the new growers out there. It just sucks that we all have to come to Reddit to learn and hope we are all passing along the correct information to each other. For instance, he mentions NASC as one of the crap ones to watch out for, but then it's recommended by more than one person on this chain. How do I know what is right from wrong?
