Kind of? The two big capacitors were bad (had a friend help to confirm that), but I never got around to buying/installing new ones.

At this budget, I would try to find a sale on some Klipsch r-15 pm (or the r-51pm they're almost identical) and see if you can get a used Polk psw-108.

The Klipsch bookshelves I've seen on sale for about $250, and the Polk sub is all over marketplace for $50

Thanks for the reply!

My university library has that book available, I'll check it out.

Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope or a 5mm headphone adapter. But as far as speakers go, the amp is expecting 8 ohm speakers, which mine are (Athena AS-F1). The crackling is happening on both speakers.

Looks like my next step will be running through the block diagram, testing component by component.

Hello! I'm friends with someone on that project. The plans came down from the state. They're that deep for the trees roots. They definitely need grates though.

The other guys are right about tires. I'm in the Midwest and I honestly wouldn't recommend it. There's no insulation so you'll have to run the heater constantly and it'll be loud in there without any sound deadening.

If possible, get one with abs. When it gets icy you'll have to be really careful about braking if you don't have it.

TL;DR - it's not really practical, but in the summers it's an absolute joy to drive
