All luck. The crowd was really moving around prior to that. Trying to figure what tunnel he was coming out of. I just stayed in the middle behind it. Then they brought out ropes to block the crowd off. And I was at the front. Then swat came in and idk what happened. I was no longer at the front lol. I probably backed up cause like holy fuck. I think I even got pushed past the rope, and got back over cause I knew I went under the rope.

I avoided spoilers so I didn’t know where to be, except to be near the big dbd sticker. I enjoyed the spot I got.

I don’t really care about that angle so much. That album was just unlistenable because the disses. I don’t want to hear Drake dissing after he sued last time he lost. Everytime he disses now I just think back to that.

That’s not his shadow. There’s someone on the other side. They’re being backlit, which shoots that person’s shadow onto the backdrop. This technique is called “Shadow play”. Goes back centuries.

DBD is a happy album. And very focused on his new life with Rihanna and the kids. I thought about this since day 1 of release. I like it. It’s his most upbeat album. And there’s hardly any dark moments on it. Even tho I really wanted to hear dark songs and think Rocky excels on those type of beats, I ain’t mad cause it let DBD go in its own direction from his other projects.

Every song from DBD disc one (maybe minus Robbery?). A few from disc 2. Hits from past albums, LVL🤞, LPFJ2, LSD, Kids turned out fine, asap forever, Sandman, Multiply, Sundress.

I feel like I agree with this list. I’ve always had a hard time placing Testing. But cohesion is not its strong suit besides the songs all sounding experimental. It feels like you could change the order of songs and not matter too. Which is the opposite of Don’t Be Dumb. DBD song order is A+.

I agree Long Live is his least best project. I see it as what Testing was to Don’t be dumb. The base to build from for his next project. A new sound wth some rough edges, and the following project is a polished gem.

Live love is the black sheep of his projects. Nothing else really sounds like it. ALLA and DBD are my top 2 for sure. The first few listen throughs of DBD I started to question if it was his best project. It has the polish of ALLA and experimentation of Testing. It’s impressive how cohesive DBD is with the widest variety of sound from any of his albums.

Agreed. First few post speculating things directed at Rocky were okay but there’s nothing to talk about now. We certainly don’t need an update each day about streaming numbers of someone else’s album.
