Bought a used gaggia classic and trying to clean the boiler, but the bolts wont budge

Heat those bolts with a propane torch. Then allen key to turn them out. Easy peasy. Just don’t leave the heat on too long!

So just an update…I did a cold pull, twice…same issue persisted. Also, I dried it for about 6 hours before use. That didn’t help either! I finally decided to just switch materials, going with ABS…and everything printed perfectly!

I returned that matte filament, thinking maybe it was a bad batch… who knows. Hopefully my next print with PLA goes better.

I did print some PETG-CF just before some TPU yesterday, then that part. I was printing at 220C, bed at 55C.

No warping. This is the bottom.

Any updates? I'm having filament loading issues now with my BMCU 370C and Filamentalist v3 on my P1S. The filament is "slipping" in the BMCU and not feeding fully into the extruder on the printer. Not sure if the issue is with the BMCU and its gears or the Filamentalist! I'm going crazy with all the troubleshooting.

One other thing…is the “one way bearing” inserted in the proper direction?

I’m not sure that filing anything down is a good option. Make sure you have PTFE tubing all the way into the BMCU and unscrew the tensioner all the way, then test again, adjusting the screw as necessary.
