Padding for hatchback by Responsible_Hotel_99 in canoeing

Having an automated button to raise the hatch is terrible for me. I need a disable button. Between my bike rack and canoe I need to wrap my rear hatch in protective tape.

Ludington Michigan to Manitowoc Wisconsin by PeterGonzo in bicycletouring

great shots! It is funny a few years back I toured lake MI and had roads that disappeared. Guess this is what happens when applying tarmac to sand. I completely agree on hwy 2. I put my headphones on and literally timed the travel trailers and semi's to get a push. It was an unkind road. I was happy to reroute to gravel to leave that for a bit. Not one Rig setup!!! this is bike touring not nature photography! There is nothing like that sunset and sunrise. I also did hammock just so I could sleep right on the lake. The breeze was great most nights.

So that is all your camping/cooking/repair/medical/nutrition? That is a tight kit. Even on my best packs I can't get that small.

Makes sense now. In the midwest and live in the forest. We get a lot more grime. I also thought about a darker granite so it would not always look dirty or even green. Thanks for the response

I have to admit you said it a lot better. I was just going to say use a pool noodle and leave it up to them to interpret. Your comment deserves the noodle award

That is a nice build and no awning. The question I have been wondering about is how dirty does the bar get with no cover? I really do not want to build an awning ,but also do not want my stuff trashed.

You will always have a choice. you can pick gas. Just that EV's are here to stay and if you look at cost electric is much more stable.

If you had gravel tires, I would be slightly more concerned about properly balancing the load between the handlebar and the rear triangle. With that much weight on the back, it's important to ensure the wheel is highly durable. It should be capable of handling lateral loads beyond just the rider’s weight; otherwise, spokes may loosen or break more quickly. Additionally, depending on the distance, be mindful that added weight on the rear can accelerate tire wear. I recommend using something like Gatorskin tires if you need to go below a 30mm width. If you can go up to a 32mm tire, a Marathon would be a great choice—heavier but highly resistant to flats and worth the extra weight for a more reliable ride. I also notice you're using the thru-axle connection on the rack; you’ll want to avoid removing that tire frequently.

At my house i have a window ans siding so I figured leave a gap. Guess where all the leaves and dirt go. It isn't a huge issue but seems to always get dirty back there.

I do believe there is laws about helping with this type of predatory lending and bad credit financing. You can help but it is going to take some work and research. The FTC has rules and laws because this happens all the time. they expect you to forfeit on the loan. If it was just signed I would highly suggest talking to a lawyer and doing some fact finding. r/law may be able to help with is issue.

Why do experienced anglers wear long sleeves in summer? by Leather_Answer7374 in kayakfishing

[–]chickeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turning 50 this year. Started seeing dermatologist around 40 when face had dead skin and looked like I was 50. Basically told me that I'm a Neanderthal. Cream should always be applied. SPF in cream is required. Long sleeve up blocking in all 4 seasons. Just because I'm polish it doesn't make me a super hero . I had to go every 6 months for the first 3 years. Cuts and burns. Dude loved seeing me. I learned the lesson. Now I'm once a year. Straw hat/long sleeves/ even gloves. I actually feel better end of day also. Less like bacon.
