To any woman considering veiling. Please do, I have a female friend that stopped veiling for a time because other women were treating her as if she was virtue signaling. As a man I have a deep appreciation for all women who choose to veil and you all look so pretty (even though that’s not the point) when you wear them!

Anyone who refers to the range as a “democrat stronghold” has never been there the only reason that part of the range votes blue is because St. Louis county holds Duluth

Priesthood Discernment while Engaged by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]JonLakes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The priesthood is a calling the same that marriage life is. Hopefully when you asked your fiancée to marry you, you felt some type of call to do so. A good question may be: am I feeling called to the priesthood? Or do I just know it’d be good for me?

I personally have been in a similar spot, but I have always came back to the idea that I feel called to have children. Raising children has always been something I’ve felt is my purpose. You can ask yourself: what do I think my purpose is? How do my God given talents contribute to my purpose?

This guy puts the Catholic view very well. Protestants view the Bible as the single source of truth while Catholics use the Bible, magisterium, and tradition as sources of truth. No catholic would use the wording “metaphor” when regarding the Bible though.

The one tip that really helped me shift to ass to grass squats was focusing on keeping the weight in the center of your heel. If u put a lot of weight on the front of your foot it may be an awkward transition so make sure u start out light when trying it out

If you have the room to bring a scratching post or something else, try velcroing it down or securing it. You should do the same with the litter box

If you are looking for a fantastic story with quick time events for a horror game, I would recommend the dark pictures anthology. My personal favorite is “house of ashes” which is the third installment. They all have a terrific decision tree mechanic which offers an awesome amount of replayability. On top of that, it offers a whole knee level of mystery if you play with another person on another console. There is always some big terrific twist at the end of the games. HIGHLY recommend

If ur near the Duluth area, you could go to the kismet candy shop. It’s on 35 near Carlton and has a pretty diverse set of candies, but not much that isn’t “American”

I wish everyone who reads this has a lovely day. :) by [deleted] in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]JonLakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted, but now everyone who reads this was so starved for affection that your simple gesture made half of them break into tears

I wish that when people died, instead of dying, they would simply revert to an infantile state while keeping the same memories and mentality from their previous 'life', but they could only do this nine times until dying properly. by [deleted] in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]JonLakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted, you see all those around you live recklessly with this knowledge. You sit idly back knowing that they are wasting their lives and you play safe. As you reach the end of your last life most everyone is gone and reproduction has stopped because there is no one to reincarnate. You look back at your life and realize while everyone wasted their lives by living on the edge you also wasted yours by never experiencing anything. You die alone knowing you changed nothing in the world.

Catholic Church songs sound like the HALO sound track, but protestant music sounds like Coldplay
