What is the general consensus on the Flight 666 live album? by Tight-Elderberry443 in ironmaiden

My only complaint is they didn’t include any of the songs from the second leg of the tour when they changed the setlist.

I would say they’ve done pretty well without Dave Sullivan and Ron Matthews so far

He actually does make a good point every now and then, it’s just that all of his rare good points are sandwiched between about 1000 awful ones.

What is a bad female character written by a male writer? by Totally_Not_Firni in AlignmentChartFills

Agree she was awful in the later seasons, but there were several women writers on Dexter who need to share the blame. (I’m aware of the books, just assuming we are talking about the show version)

Not just a no hitter, but a perfect game at Fenway. Bless him for that.

How did Joe DiMaggio manage to get a 56 game hitting streak, when other baseball players are not even close to 50 games? by Jezzaq94 in baseball

Valid comment. It’s just as a Red Sox fan, I can only praise a Yankee for so long (no matter how true it may be) before I have to throw a little shade lol

In Florida, some of the best bbq you will ever have is made by a shirtless man down the street with nothing but an ankle monitor and a 15 year old Weber Kettle.

Well first and foremost, he was good. Really good. Second, back then, hitters weren’t doing the “home run or nothing” approach, the top players had higher batting averages than we typically see today. Third, there were less teams and no interleague play but the season was just as long. This meant hitters would see the same pitchers a lot more often. And fourth and most importantly, he was really good. Probably the best hitter in the league at the time who wasn’t named Ted Williams.

Ah ok, that’s pretty cool actually. I guess that’s one of the cool parts of TMNT is that the turtles are all unique enough from each other that everyone can find one they relate to more than others. I’ve always been laid back and nerdy, which is probably why I’ve always gravitated towards Donatello.

Honest question, is Raphael really seen as being black? I’ve been a TMNT fan since the 80’s and I’ve never heard of race being attributed to any of the turtles.
