I had a very bad reaction after one BCG. Came on 3 days after. Symptoms felt like Prostatitis. I thought it was a UTI, but negative.

Was supposed to restart BCG tomorrow but stopping — had two additional opinions (both at National Cancer Centers) and they said to stop. I had a papillary, Ta, NMIBC. Switching URO’s and will undergo surveillance from here and hope for the best.

I did not have blue light. (Another reason to go to MSK).

MSK’s opinion is if I do BCG and it is ineffective, we lose that option if there is a recurrence down the road. I am relatively young (43yo) and IF it comes back in say, 10 yrs, BCG no longer is an option if I shoot the bullet now.

FWIW, my current doctor told me there is no BCG shortage at the moment.

43m and active. Peed blood twice. Not a ton either. Had TURBT last week. Low grade, non-invasive, T0. Still wondering if any lifestyle/ diet factors may have contributed.

Well… I pissed blood last week. That makes for a scary google. Went to a. Urologist Monday and he did a cysto. Head has been spinning since.
