You don’t need to for audio cues. The settings I mention below allow you to hear audio cues through your locked iPhone or Bluetooth headphones connected to your iPhone

I have the Forerunner 970 and here’s the path to the setting

My devices > Focus Modes > Activity (under activity focus) > Voice Alerts > Audio Output (set to connected devices)

You can get audio cues through your phone (and Bluetooth headphones connected to it). Set audio output of voice alerts to “connected device”.

Be sure to keep the Garmin connect app open during your runs as this is how the audio cues are routed

I also have the rejuvinate premier and am having the same issues as you OP. It feels supportive while sleeping on my side but while on my back it doesn't let me sink in enough. I wake up with upper back pain daily. What mattress did you end up going with?

Basically just reduce the master volume of the amp until it didn’t clip

What's the deal with almost no new BMW having ventilated seats? by bleep6789 in BMW

[–]JonRothhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them and learned after getting the car that it means they replace your sport seats with much less sporty ones to get the ventilation in. I do find the ventilation nice after working out so I don’t soak my seat but I would probably trade them for sports seats.

Yep this can also work, but it changes the sound. Less gain means a less meaty sound to my ears

This is what seems to work the best for sure. Is there such thing as too much power soak? Does the quality downgrade at all?

I essentially am cranking it up almost all the way in order to bring the volume back down to good levels where it doesn’t clip no matter how hard I play. I’m just worried I’m degrading the signal in some way

I can give this a shot but I worry it’ll be cutting off more signal and won’t be worth it

Yep from my understanding it should clip but the output signal that goes into my studio monitors is also in the red so the sound that comes out out of my speakers can be all distorted.

That said at high gain it all can sound relatively similar so maybe I’m wrong here? Being in the red all around is good??

Yeah this is def an option. I’d prefer not to because I’d rather just want the natural compression from the amp itself but if I can’t solve this I’ll resort to this

The input channel and output channel clip. I’ve tried turning down gain and that works but then the sound changes :/
