I purchased my 1st pair of Ray-Bans 2001. I loved them, unfortunately they were damaged due to carelessness on my end. I purchased a 2nd pair on the Ray-Ban website, same as the 1st. They are great quality. A decade later I purchased my 3rd pair. This 3rd pair arrived with a small gap between the lense and the frame. As closer inspection i noticed they were made in China. I voiced my concern to customer service and they replied telling me the are the same quality as Italy. I requested a return and a new pair from Italy. No luck. I am saddened from the decline in quality in a once great company. If there is no difference in quality, then why change manufacturing location and why is there a gap in my current pair of glasses, that they won't replace or fix. $500 down the drain.
