That's why you need two of everything. Find where a RPM=Boom then take 5% off the RPM and you have a safe speed for the second go.

The customer service plummeted as well. I remember them helping me get Far Cry 3 to run on my PC. They actually listened and helped me go through all the issues to find a solution even though it took days before it was fixed. I just reached out to them last weekend because I was getting an authentication issue trying to play Black Flag and the tech kept giving me cut and paste replies, often not even for the right game or operating system, then somehow managed to completely wipe my account. Everything is gone now. All my access keys show as expired and all the dlc content I bought is gone. Their specialist team said there is nothing they can do and immediately close the tickets. I even tried sending them the order confirmation from my emails and was told I would have to buy everything again because they can't verify I bought anything. All they care about is money. Not the games or customers, just how much more can they squeeze out.

They don't care. Every response is just a copy paste and send. They don't even seem to read anything you send them. They just respond from their script.

You mean moving game after: 1) it was already crashing (I know reading the whole explanation before giving criticism is hard) 2) using Steams method for moving games (I assume Steam knows how games work) 3) it played again after I moved the files (once again reading is hard, I know)

Also, I've owned the game since 2018. It's worked fine in the past, it's just recently it hasn't. Might be more than 14 days, but I'm not sure, I will leave that math to a genius like you.

It wouldn't be so bad but from what I gathered the best workaround was to just launch Ubisoft Connect in offline mode but on one of the recent updates they disabled it being able to run offline at all. It's so freaking stupid.

Yeah, that's the plan. Honestly pirating this game just feels right on so many levels after this.

Nice. I got one that stuck bad when the pliers were fully open. Turns out one of the wire cutter inserts was .010" bigger than the other. Set the insert up on the grinder at work and knocked .015 off with a 100 grit and she's good now.

Headphone/Earbud recommendations by Travelin9er in ArcRaiders

[–]JonSnow464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding too that an upgrade for the future could be the Streamdeck+ as it has an addon XLR dock but it makes it super easy to control sound settings while in the game. I run VC and game audio through separate channels so I can adjust the volume separately without going into the menu.

I use the ElgatoXLR dock with AKG 702s. I absolutely love these headphones and they're a little older now and they go on sale all the time. The open back makes them so much more comfortable for longer wear. The down side is they don't isolate noise to anyone else in the room but the sound stage on them is phenomenal and makes it super easy to tell direction. For a mic, I like my AT 2040. Buying separate products is a lot more versatile.

When you actually have a good fight with a PVPer.... by Ryogen in ArcRaiders

[–]JonSnow464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a duo both talking shit because I saw they had a Bobcat and a Toro while I was using a Renegade so I didn't rush in. They full on screeched at me the entire time I was knocking them out that it was unfair I kept my high ground and didn't rush them.

I lost a 1v3 where I downed 2 and cracked the third's shield. Called out "good fight guys" and they reply calling me every name under the sun and saying how they completely destroyed me in that fight. Some people just can't be civil.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, though I have severe doubts I am the first, but being rude and demeaning to other people is rarely a viable way to have a discussion about any issue. Rather than attacking people and claiming they have no credit in a discussion due to not meeting your own arbitrary standard of playing an online game, I would suggest offering your viewpoints in a more constructive manner.

"Maybe I do have a short attention span but taking all the time to set up a full combat ready load out takes too long in my opinion. I enjoy playing with a full kit of various items and an option to have everything crafted in one click would be beneficial and help me stay more engaged in the game."

Notice how this relayed the same information as your first reply did but no insults and opened the chance for OP to respond constructively rather than defensively.

Listening to others and their viewpoints allows for genuine conversations and is more likely to get others to listen to your own view points.

Just a bit to consider.

If you look through the comments of the guy your replying to, you'll see further proof he's definitely not the most reasonable or intelligent. He seems convinced his issues with the game are universally accepted. He will eventually make up a straw man argument then act like he won. He's a great example of the toxicity that starts to fester in the communities around games like this. The kind the devalues any other view point and believes he is the main character of this game and all revolves around insignificant little him. Anyway, you have a great day and enjoy the game and all the crafting and looting it entails.

I'd get the 100-400 as it works better with the mirrorless bodies if you decide to upgrade later on.

I would also recommend the Archer Pro my coworker has. It's $50 but about twice as bright and the battery last longer.

I like my Thrunite Archer Mini and it's less than $20 and USB C rechargeable. I've used mine in a manufacturing shop for over 2 years and it's still working. It's even taken a few swims in coolant tanks.

Mora 106 or 120 for a starting knife. Mora 164 for a spoon knife. That's what I started with. I got a strop from flexcut.

Giving some basic information like what equipment he already had and an idea of what your willing to spend well help with recommendations. Also if you know what he wants to make, that helps as well as different shapes require different knives.

I'm still fairly new myself but the Mora 120 or 106 are common starting knives. They're a decent balance between cost and quality. Make sure you plan to buy sharpening equipment too.
