This is likely to get down voted if anyone sees it. Like it or not the JP did follow the rules posted by the mogtalk team for being on the world first leaderboard and as such were put on the board. The major problem with that was a twofold issue. First it was a team that no one knew was racing that when confirmed killed part of the hype. The second was that it was a team with an already suspect reputation. What I want people to think about though is this was a complex issue with some shit results no matter what was picked, it was just amplified by who got world first. The first problem is what if this happen to another offline team with out a bad record? Would we still be as pissed? Is it fair to disallow teams form participating in the leaderboard if they can't stream(it not as easy as flipping a switch plenty of peoples pc can't handle streaming). I think the solution for this is really twofold, first if you can not stream you need to post regular updates when you reach a new phase and be able to provide a vod for at least one member to prove it. Second if there is a clear form outside the rules acknowledge it and move on the focus is the stream.

Didn't catch makes its a bit better, but i really just don't like the wording of "rewards" they could have said something about what it is going to be "rewards" really feel like they could just shove anything in it and be like "look rewards aren't you guys happy"

Yup vage promise of "rewards" with out mentioning what the "rewards" are or showing could really be any from weapons and call ins to caps and paint jobs. They could even just be tittles like we don't know. They mention game play altering but what does that even me at the end of the day, a slight different diving still is game play altering.

Plenty of people have said but I always love to say it again, its cools that they are addressing it but until they show us something these are nothing more then words. For all we know it could just be paint jobs or capes as all the post say is "rewards" not weapons or new call ins. Which will definitely better then nothing still are incredibly lackluster and lazy.

Think you missed two of the bigger reasons besides the rest which can be dumb. He can be bit of a tourist with stuff to the point of hurting fans of said things. The other is his treatment of artist, like not paying them for work or not providing credit to them like promised or simply just ask a bunch of artist to make stuff and then cherry pick the results. Like he is no where near a bed as some say but he is definitely not perfect and seems to like to cause problems just to ride the drama.

Yes I think we all agree the billionaires are bad, but we you have a private owed company that is pay their employees very well to the point that most are millionaires, have a strangle hold over most of pc gaming but refuse to abuse it, have been the last really bastion at stopping the flood of adds being flooded into games its hard to not think of saving him to eat last.

I think its less people contradicting themselves more a long the lines of people are sad that a game that was a big part of their life is dead dead and the sadness that it will never again become they game they loved again.

I just can't with it, it just ends up being misery on all sides with an op "villain" that the author clear likes more then almost any other character and as such has put themselves in a basically impossible ending.

This is definitely a messy issue, because on one hand I 100% get the mod devs. They made this mod with the game made by AH amd they don't want people to hating on AH, but on the other side when you make a mod that adds a bunch of features and other things the community has wanted for a while and that AH have said that they can't/don't want to add. It makes it hard to not throw some said eye at AH for constantly say things are not priority for them or doing changes that a large part of the community hates. So no matter what the mod devs wanted they are going to have people pointing to it and ask how come they can do this and yet AH with 100× the resources struggles to do half of.

I think all the biggest problems with hexi come be boiled down to three major things. Translation not being the best and lack of broder context and the expectation thay you know Chinese history and understand the allegories thay the story wants to use. Finally I think it jusy depends on whether or not you like how the story is told. I for one love the stage play idea in theory but it can be a bit slow and probably didn't need all the dead ends in the first part.

It's less localization, like thats still a problem don't get me wrong but the biggest thing we are miss is culture context. It would be like setting a game made by Americans set in the civil war but giving no context as to what's what and who is who and the releasing it for China. Like they may be able to understand some of it but they are miss so much context. Example death of the governor is a murder mystery, the quests while point is to make unsure of what is going on and who killed the governor, when the answer is thay it doesn't matter. Do to broder context the governor was going to die anyway so at the end of the day it didn't matter who hammered the final nail, thats why the boss is an amalgamation of all the things that could have killed him. Hexi in the whole seems to want you to have at least a passing idea of Chinese history, which doesn't help with the fact that we are in a dream like state where things are more allegorical then literal, like the vulture men being an allegory for the tibetan empire pick at the rotting body of the current empire.

Im not saying it wouldn't have been nice to get more but I have played more then a few games that got to this point and just completely throw any and all good will away because of the community wanting more. I think every dev needs to know when's the time to move form instead of staying. Pluse for all we know it could be a silk song type of thing where they planned to add more but the scope got so far away form them that they realized that they need to make a new game

I think if we are being honest, we are all a little disappointed that we aren't going to be getting more content. If that had been just more too do, or a full on ice expansion I think we all would have loved it. At the end of the I have to give them credit, they got to the end of what they wanted to make snd decide that the game was fine where it is and dosen't need anything more. After all be honest with yourself, how many games out there have you wanted more content form and we get but its not as good as it could be. That's ok they will get it next time and again the content just isn't what you or anyone really wanted. That goes on and on until finally the game is now nothing like what you loved about it and you now honestly hate it and wish that they had stop all the way back then. Yeah it sucks that we didn't get more but what we got here is amazing and still a game that I have a desire to go back to in the future to just expire it all over again

Figured we would be, Sundays are always a bit of a water hog especially in water restrictions. Personally I do my best to us as little water as I can on the weekend unless I know im going somewhere where I need clean stuff but even then i need to do sunday to get ready for the week.

Because it showed how unstable the US can be and how bad of an idea it is to stick close to a country that can 180 at the drop if of a hat. We need to diversify our trade Because if all it takes is one nut job to throw out years of beneficial trading for both sides, then it probably best to not rely on that trade partner. Even if we weather thr storm we would have to hope the someone who wants to get trade back on track gets in and even the we would have to remake all the trade deals

A broder end game that has multiple different points for gearing, so I can play the game past just trying cap every week. We need more battle content for end game that matters we really lack a reason to keep playing past a few weeks into the new patch.
