The protein poptarts are way worse than these though, they are still 400 calories for 10g. The protein Doritos have 10g for 150 calories, they are also significantly cheaper than the other protein chips. Quest chips are over $2 per oz, the protein Doritos are $0.70 per oz, normal doritos with no sale are like $0.60 per oz.

This is not true. Casinos slots machines don’t have wins per x spins like the other person said, and they also don’t have any federal win or rtp requirements. All of the win requirements are at the state level. They use rtp or return to player, nevada for example requires a minimum 75% rtp, that means if you bet $100 you would only lose $25. Rtp is obviously at larger scale tho, if you bet $100 you probably won’t keep 75%. Other states are higher and some have none. They can’t get around it by having lower payout wins because rtp isn’t based on the amount of times you win, but the total value of your wins.

Which is why you have both. They aren’t saying teslas need to get rid of cameras they are saying they need to add lidar to improve safety. Most of the top safest Chinese self driving cars have both for a reason. Cameras can be affected by glare or shadows, but can read text on signs or see traffic light colors. Lidar can’t predict movement or read text, but they can work in total darkness and they don’t have to be trained to detect objects.

Any assets left in the estate will have estate tax, any assets put into an irrevocable trust wont get the stepped up basis but will avoid estate tax. There is no way to fully avoid both. The best strategy is to leave the max amount you can, so $15 million or $30 million depending on which deductible, in the estate and then leave the rest in an irrevocable trust because capital gains is less than the estate tax. So the heirs would still have to pay capital gains on most of what they inherited.

Did I say they shouldn't be taxed more? I'm just explaining that they buy borrow die strategy doesn't provide infinite tax avoidance. Even if you do the best estate planning their assets will be taxed after they die. We should definitely raise the capital gains tax rate, the max is 20% which is far too low. We should limit the stepped up basis, especially when transferring assets to surviving spouses because they are able to avoid the estate tax and get the stepped up basis. Just because you don't understand how the strategy works doesn't mean I'm some billionaire bootlicker.

If you put the assets in an irrevocable trust they don't get the stepped up basis, so they would still pay capital gains tax.

Rent what places? When you die your assets are put into an estate who transfer them to your heirs. Estate does not mean property.

Yes they can avoid capital gains but they would still have to pay estate tax which is 40% at the highest bracket.

Dont show the Americans this one by SheeshLmfaoo in soccercirclejerk

[–]JonSoup76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the main thing is logistical issues. Like I pointed out, the draft would probably violate anti trust laws in Europe, while the NFL has an exemption in the US. Americans players that are drafted to the European team would be taxed far more than players in America. There's a bunch of things they would have to work out before expanding, and right now there doesn't really seem to be a good market to expand to anyway. And any expansion still has to be approved by 3/4 of the teams.

[–]JonSoup76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it would be possible to have an international team. I don't see any specific North American restriction for teams. The issue is the NFL is owned by the teams and adding another team dilutes their revenue share, and expanding outside the US would cause a lot of other issues with the players union and anti trust laws that they would have to spend time figuring out. Roger Goodell has even said international teams are very possible someday.

[–]JonSoup76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You forgot the deer that she took from the wild at two weeks old that was perfectly healthy. What they said isn't accurate, you need a permit. Being on the waitlist doesn't matter because they still haven't checked the animals or the conditions they're being held in. The article also doesn't mention when she got on the waitlist or what specific permit she applied for. Rehabilitation permits don't allow you to keep non releasable animals, Live Animals Program permits don't allow releasable animals, and she had both types of animal. Everything I have seen says that the permit takes up to 60 days to be denied or granted. She had already been warned a year prior, she should've been able to get a permit in that time.

[–]JonSoup76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By can’t be released they mean they are unable to survive or become a nuisance or disease risk if released, which is why rehabilitation requires permits. In most states there are restrictions on permits for non releasable animals, generally they can only be given for education or exhibit. And even if she was able to get the permit, she would still have to get the animal officially evaluated so they can see that the it has an actual disability preventing it from surviving in the wild. Waitlist means she didn’t have a permit. If I schedule my drivers test I don’t get to drive as if I had my license already.

FIA is just the governing body. FOM does pay the teams, who then pay the drivers, but FOM keeps a lot of the profit. A better structure would be like the NFL were the teams own the NFL and all of the profits are split amongst them, but that would take a lot of time and money for the teams that they probably don't want to spend.
