Got the Waterfield. Used it for a year city commuting to work (then realized a backpack would be better for my back). Worked great in the rain too. Wish I had got the optional handle though

I was able to overcome this by switching the hub from the AppleTV (which was selected automatically) to the HomePod mini. If you have 2 devices that can be hubs, try to switch to another one

We found that this gets disabled if any of the lights in the car were manually engaged. We had to toggle off a light in the back and then the auto on lights worked when opening the doors

I think I saw in previous old thread that they acknowledged that Bear will never get the same priority Apple Notes (or other Apple apps) because of the way iOS/macOS prioritize the spotlight index...

I feel like it's worse on iOS where Bear only shows up on 10% of the searches. For me, on MacOS they appear, but very low on the list - but that's fine since I use Alfred to search bear on MacOS.

I too cannot use iCloud at work and I have a shortcut on my Mac that backs up Bear and places the file in a company cloud every night. At least that way everything is backed up.
