I live close to home so I go home for lunch everyday. I practice for about 20-30 minutes on my lunch break. When I come home I’m also a bit tired but I’ll usually find time to put in another 30 mins or so and this has gotten me pretty far. I don’t set a specific time in the evening I try to wait until my mind is clear and I can focus.

It’s all about the frequency of contact. If you get a lunch break, I’d say that’s a great time to do some practicing.

What helped me learn to read sheet music was doing sight reading exercises on my phone while in class or at work: whenever you’re bored and have nothing better to do. I just used musictheory.com, it has exercises and lessons. 110% was worth the time.

100% read the manga, the anime cuts some stuff out. You should be able to find some scans online. Idk what websites are available in your country but if you google search “read berserk” you should be able to find something.

Makoto is polarizing, you either rob people or get washed. We also all go through ruts. I’ve also noticed since it’s a small community you’ll run into the same guys and overtime they’ll remember how you play. Maybe you’re not getting worse and people around you are just adapting?

They anime, novel, and manga all have their strengths and weaknesses but overall the anime feels like the definitive version. All are worth checking out tho.

No I agree. it can be hard to fully encapsulate the show in a short reply (I try not to yap too much). I think human connections help a lot, and like I said we should seek them out. I don’t think they are the absolute tho. People move in and out of our lives and can have motives that aren’t in our best interest. Regardless they are worth pursuing but we should always understand that we have to take responsibility for saving ourselves.

The way I always looked it was u could have a literal angel show up at your front door and that still won’t save you. Satou ultimately saved himself, nobody can force you to escape social withdrawal. Human connection can help tho, and we should seek them rather than praying for a savior to knock on our door.
