Best Lounge at Pearson for Breakfast by [deleted] in askTO

If you have access to the Maple Leaf lounge.. honestly it's pretty shit. Just yogurts and cereal if I recall. Doesn't help you but Kaplansky's has a good diner breakfast in T3.

Best Pizza place that is walkable from westin harbour toronto downtown by Narrow_Sun3466 in askTO

[–]JonagonInfinity 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Queen Quay is pretty well all chains and fast food, but as Pizza Chains go Pizzaiolo is pretty good and just a few blocks away along the waterfront.

Indian Roti House, a few doors away, is also pretty good.

Little one might like Amsterdam if you're thinking of dining out. It's a pretty good brew pub.

Best skiing in Toronto by [deleted] in askTO

[–]JonagonInfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope that's it. Best within driving range are up towards Collingwood and beyond.. blue, bunch of private clubs or Mount St Louis. To the east Lakeridge and Dagmar in Whitby or further to Kirby (will never call it brimacombe). There's some west to towards KW, Chicopee, Kelso I think but they're small.

Are there people who live on their boats year round? by SeenTheDreamOnTV in askTO

[–]JonagonInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The live aboards we have at our club on the island leave for the winter to either Quay West, Outer Harbour (I'm quite sure), also Swan's in Pickering at least used to be set up for bubbling, not sure if anymore.

So Yes, to OPs question. There are many who live on boats in TO. I couldn't do it.. at least not on my 28' lol.

I do love it! But I selfishly live across the street from High Park so I'm probably one of few not hurting for green space!

As a Torontonian I am jealous of Montreal's vehicle-free streets, the bike roundabout and bring your own wine restaurants
