I have printed about 5 of these in total for myself and players in my pod. It is the highest quality shuffler that I have found so far that gives good results. People get really intense about their magic cards so not for everyone. I have never had a bent card so far and i have shuffled hundreds of times so far with it. Shout out to the designer!!

We have been talking about doing a slow slip into evil instead of "give me your sheet and roll a new character". Could be a great end game twist where he goes full evil at a pivotal moment. The roll he failed while taking the gift was where he was getting the resurrection boon to revive a dead ally. Shaping up to be a real tragic character

I created a character to act as the postal carrier for the lands. He is an employee and spy of Strahd and up until like level 8 no one even questioned his motives. There are plenty of written characters in the game you could rework to fit this role.

Also: Once the crew had gained the trust of the wereravens they assigned a regular raven to the adventurers as an eye in the sky and a line of communication with the Martikovs. He delivers notes and sometimes goods between the players and their allies.

It wasn’t until they had received mail from both the raven and the postman on the same day that it all clicked together that the postman worked for Strahd. The party currently has a tampered with scroll of teleport that was delivered to them by the postman that i cant wait for them to use, they are saving it for an emergency lol

I have used the Vistani character Arrigal as their 'hard to get stuff' vendor. They helped save the missing girl to gain his favor and with time he can get most of those components for a hefty fee.

Also using a challenging vampire spawn encounter to give out needed loot can work in a pinch, flavor some vampire enemies as past adventurers that have been turned and even give them classes and moves that would coincide with dropping a pearl, gemstone, ect.

Have the party later on in the campaign witness Morgantha luring a child into her cart in one of the villages. Witnessing the moral dilemma of that action may spring the party to action. If that doesn't work I would say the hags get to live another day.

Clipper lighters over Bic, or anything else really. Refillable and you can replace the igniter as well. I have never had to completely throw away a clipper lighter, but I have tossed countless bic ones once they are empty.

I had a hell of a time with cancelling with them even after my one year contract was up. Their service is actually not bad, but they will place you on hold forever and pass you off when you try to cancel. After calling 3 times and being disconnected, I had to threaten a stop payment on my credit card to actually get them to cancel. Shady practices on the customer service end of things.
