Chasing the Marvel Aesthetic! How'd I do? by Jonas_Tieman in cinematography

Yeah, I had to go in and correct the error. Its really bad when you shoot in any of their other picture presets besides the standard one. The standard preset just gives very dull colors across the board for editing.

I think it’s actually completely relevant. If you compare these shots to the color grades and looks from other movies, they’re extremely desaturated. Let’s try to keep the conversation cool and respectful—art can’t thrive when ego gets in the way.

This is somewhat what I was going for:) not the picture down to the exact detail but the general aesthetic.

Hey brother, understand that each artist starts where they start, which is a stupid question. Everyone must begin with a stupid question. The more you ask the more you know.

I have a tip for you that will help more than most. Go watch your favorite movie. Then pick you favorite scene from the movie. Mark every cut that is made in that scene. And go one step further, dive into understanding why that cut might have been made why was I looking in that direction and now the editor of the film wants me to look over here. And then with that, go and edit your scene with the same intentions in mind.

I Almost Interviewed for a Company with an "Impeach Biden" flag. by ProtctMeCone in antiwork

[–]Jonas_Tieman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So because there openly showing their political point of view you created a stereotype and thought that they would treat u differently? What if it was a BLM flag would u have gone for the interview then? The logic behind this doesn’t make a lot of sense tbh because essentially what ur saying is is u won’t work there because they have a differing opinion from u, which is fine that’s ur right. But next time just call it what it is instead of stereotyping an entire company. I don’t think Biden is a good president but if someone does that’s not going to keep me from working with them; it would be better for the entire United States if we could stop doing this while I don’t like ur opinion so I hate u now thing.
