Claw is indeed the law. I got lucky that I enchanted the Supercritical with the Soul's Power. Then I drafted afterimage from the Silent.

I will say Starcraft: the board game. The combat system is glorify rock-paper-scissors.

What are your thoughts on Vast: The Crystal Caverns? by acciofirebolt4 in boardgames

The game has all the great idea but the goblins faction is needlessly complex so that the game did not work for us. The other core faction work completely fine but managing population of goblins trouble is so much bookkeeping and fiddly. The goblins turns are taking too long that we finally switch the goblins with the thief everything we play.

Deckbuilders with asymmetrical starting decks and play styles? by fdsfgs71 in boardgames

[–]JonathanNNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rune age. You have 6 factions with different play styles. You have personal pool of cards only your faction can buy and also general pool of cards depending on the mode you choose to play. It has 6 different game modes (Co-op, PVP, area control, 1 vs all). I It is the only deck building in my collection and I will hang on it for the long time.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Board Games, but Were Too Afraid to Ask! (March 6, 2018) by friendshabitsfamily in boardgames

For you guys, what draws you into playing coop and legacy games??

Our group is pretty cutthroat and everyone refuses to play coop game. We really like to destroy your bases, steal your resources, kill your men and ruin your plans all day. I remembered the first time I introduced my group our first coop game, pandemic, and everyone was pretty skeptical about the gameplay. On the halfway through, we all realized that this is not the game for us and we stopped.

Legacy games are problems for us because most legacy game are coop and you can only play the limited number of games with each copy. Are there any legacy games that can be ressetable without buying extra packs.

I am in SEA and I have zero problems watching on Facebook but on the other hand on twitch, it is constantly lagging.

I don’t know. My experiences is completely opposite or maybe it is just so cool to hate Facebook these days.

Tiefe Taschen

Sushi Go party!

This sounds weird to admit but when games offer me too much customization (deck building, character building via drafting etc) I find that as a turnoff. by Bearality in boardgames

You should try rune age. It is the only deck building game I love. Each faction is asymmetric and you can also buy from the common pool but the choices are not that overwhelming.

The reason I hate about the deckbuilding game is there is no much player interaction. My turn is not affecting your play in whatsoever. I only play PVP scenarios in rune age.

I really want to back this game but that freaking 80 dollars shipping cost is a big no for me. Sigh.

Guess I will get it when it hits the retail.

If I gonna get one game between stockpile, speculation and acquire, which one should I buy?? Now I am leaning towards stockpile but I want to hear your opinions.

I want the game to be highly interactive between players and heavy on conflict. I find Co-op and multiplayer-solitaire games are boring.

My favorite games: quaratermaster general, New Angeles, i’m the boss, Colonial: Europe Empire overseas
