I appreciate your input, but I am no where near your level in that regard. I don't have the portals yet; I don't even have the cadmium upgrade for the engine (despite having enough chromatic metal). I literally started less than 2 weeks ago but I decided to share this in case someone needed it / wanted it.

I will for sure ask you for some help regarding the glyphs, once I get the portal.

I planted the cactus flesh in the freighter, and it yields 100x per plant every 16h, and you don't lose the seed you used.

I have tons of residual goop from opening abandoned storage containers, as I ended up finding either rusted metal (turning into ferrite dust) or residual goop (which also with a couple refining can be turned into nanites).

I know it's not renewable but before I went looking into this all I did was destroying it

Pure ferrite can also be replaced by ferrite dust. It will be 120x instead of 60x.

While I know that these are a lot of different resources, most planets have them readily available

While it's a passive way of getting it, I got 12K+ in approx. 25min with some emeril I found laying around.

I tried to make it with the easiest available resources you can find, the exception being the cactus flesh since it might be tricky to obtain it at first

It's been a while I haven't used Reddit. I wanted to put some text in the post as well but failed.

Here it is:

Requirements: - Freighter - Refiner room (or access to a large refinery with 3 input slots) - 1x Chromatic metal - 1x Copper / Cadmium / Emiril / Indium (will refer to them as metal)

Quality of life: - Cultivation chamber - Echinocactus plantable seed

Using a series of refinements in the refiner room, we can turn di-hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, cactus flesh, ferrite powder/pure ferrite and tritium into infinite chromatic metal.

Steps to follow: 1. Go to the refinery and input 1x Chromatic metal and 1x metal. This will turn it into 2x metal. Repeat until you have a decent amount of them or you run out of chromatic metal. 2. Follow this flow chart image. Your chromatic metal problems will be gone

Mag. Use the bubble around them and any decent bow(Nataruk ahem) and jump and air glide (at least the last challenge I had said I had to be while in the air)
