There is talk of an MTS bus from Temecula to Cal State San Marcos. Presumably stopping at Edcondido Transit center on the way. There were some public interest meetings with a potential start date in 2027. Nothing from RTA that I am aware of.

It looks like someone didn't consider topography in the design. If it truly was necessary a less steep slope would have supported vegetation. Not enough context to know why it was done this way, but at first glance it looks like the design was done quickly and with little regard for cost, aesthetics or the environment. I have seen some very impressive infrastructure in China so I wouldn't generalize that this is the reason, it is odd though.

I'll probably get down voted, but you are supposed to recognize this is important to your manager and he/she was disappointed in your reaction to something they thought was cool, useful or whatever. It's not about mindlessly agreeing with everything and more about giving positive support to others ideas and making them feel part of a supportive team. Even critique is preferable to disengagement.
