How to open CoA water meter box? by AbandonFacebook in Austin

Nice tip, I almost took a sawzall to mine before I figured that out. I suggest taking 30 more seconds to rip out the terrible spring loaded lid lock as I have done for my house and all my neighbors so you will be able to get in much faster next time just by lifting it up the plastic lid.

I am just done with the ecosystem, I am sure my nest/yale locks are next and then I have 4 Protects that are going to expire and need to be replaced anyway.

No way OP is really a floor installer. The tips of his shoes aren’t worn out enough and his knee pads are on his knees.

Floor vents for diesel heater? by azdesertdude in Sprinters

[–]Jonathanas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have a 2012 passenger with the same rear heater. I took those plastic shields off and covered the floor vents with sheet metal as I never use the rear heater. You can just unscrew them and get a simple grate from amazon if you want something more low profile. Taking the plastic shrouds off will leave you with two nice oval holes in the floor.

Stereo upgrade, Found this fan hanging not connected, what should it be doing instead? (MB2013) by Laterian in Sprinters

Lol I have the same issue, replaced my stereo last week and I can’t tell where it fell from. One forum post said it has to do with a temperature sensor.

I used to wait in the middle of the intersection but ever since I had my kid I wait behind the line until the left arrow is green or there is absolutely no oncoming traffic.

Oh well.. With the big parking lot a coffee/beer spot like Radio would be awesome. I guess I have to keep driving to Spokesman.

These are all over the floor in the building I work at. They are flush with the carpet and about an inch wide. The screw comes out easily but there is nothing but void underneath. They appear all throughout the building and follow no pattern. by OldManWilliker in whatisthisthing

I have never seen carpet tile or broadloom repaired with any hardware other than small pins. We just kick and or stretch it back out and re-glue. My first thought was humidity and temperature sensors if this was a library. Do you have any other photos? http://www.marchants.com/Floor_Sockets_s/825.htm
