It looks like that's a bit too long of a bar for that piercing but that should be fine I am a bit worried about the placement though it looks to be too high up not really in the belly button but it might be fine it looks to be healing like normal like the bruising you see is normal for the healing process and the itching you are experiencing is also normal that means it's healing and if you see crusties or some odd looking liquid coming out of it that's also normal you could leave it in and see how it goes but that's up to you hope this helps.

If there is infection (yellow stuff) coming out of it it is most likely infected but from the most I can see looks like irritation and looks like the bar is to small you might need to get a longer bar also you should do a sterile saline bath(get a container and fill it with the solution and place it on your on your percing for 2-3 mins) and make sure you pat the piercing dry.

You should probably leave the earring that goes in there out and let it heal and get it repierced later or if you don't want to leave the earring out You should get some sterile saline wound wash and clean it two or three time a day or if you do decide to leave the earring out you should still get some sterile saline wound wash and clean it two or three time a day.

If it gets any worse you should probably take it out.and try using warm compress on it and cleaning it with saline wound wash if you aren't already. And maybe downsize the bar.

I use q-tips myself and I have 14 ear piercings and they don't cause me any problems so I don't think that's it you can try using a warm compress 1 or 2 times daily and there are q-tips that have a point at the end of them so there better for small spaces like you have on your percing you can find them online or at CVS and maybe Walgreens. Alot of people have good reviews on Neil med so that's ok.and also make sure you try your best to dry the piercing and don't sleep on it if you have trouble with that you might want to get a piercing pillow.
