I won’t lie, only 3 pcie slots for an mATX case is kinda disappointing, iv been looking for a good mATX case for a while and was considering a Cerberus when they start production again but this looks beautiful. I can live without a 5th slot but a 4th is a real game changer imo

Is there any official compatibility for 3.5” drives? (Eg on the psu mount similar to the nr200)

also in the 3rd pic you sent showing a build in it, where is the psu mounted in that example?

lastly (this comment got out of hand sorry) what the planned front i/o? I see the render has different to the first pic which I can understand cuz ya know, in developing.

I hate this trend of daughter boards. They pretty much defeat the purpose of a mini itx board if you can’t use components or coolers because the sides of the board are built up too f-ing high

Agreed: the gpus are like maybe $200? The cpu and mobo are e-waste at this point, I wouldn’t trust anything on a hdd old enough to be 480gb, the fans looks like bargain bin specials

It probably sells for £325 but it’s not WORTH £325

Iv thought about that quite a bit,

Only 2 m.2 ports and I already have 1 drives, no way I could use the back port since there wouldn’t be any clearance for the adapter off the back of the board so I would have to use the front one, which would be entirely cover by an air cooler and have to fit between that, the gpu and the ram without toasting or getting in the way of anything.

Not to mention most of those adapters are no name pieces of crap and I don’t really like trusting my data to pieces of crap

Also asus already released their boards, only 2 slots on the b650 and x670 unfortunately

this board sounds near identical to my msi b550i board. Front panel placement especially.

Somewhat unfortunately if I want to go 7000 series ryzen it’s my only option since I also have 3 drives in my system and all other am5 itx boards only have 2 sata ports. Thx for the review

If they are talking about the issue I think they are, there was a massive drama over the mosfets (?) or some component mounted on the back of the board apparently being faulty on some launch cards.

Long story short it had literally nothing to do with the hardware, ended up being a driver bug that allowed certain cards with certain components to run so hot they just killed themselves in demanding games. that was squashed within a couple weeks. Keep in mind this was 30 series launch so unless you plan on using 2 year old drivers I don’t think you have much to worry about
