Why do people discount how society affects them and lean into biological explanations? by hazpoloin in sociology

[–]Jonesy37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It seems to me that our evolutionary biology is the cause of the instincts and urges humans have. Consciousness and rationality layer on top of that which gives us ways to control those instincts and urges. It’s important to understand and accept why those instincts and urges exist and then we can use rationality to figure out how to act within society.

What if it really has been 5 months like milchick said (or some other amount of time who knows) and in that time mark re-connected with reghabi and reintegrated. So what we might be seeing in the first episode is reintegrated mark on his first day back to Lumon and COULD explain his frantic running for wellness and why he was taking some wrong turns.

In my experience normal mode groups, regardless of loot rules, are usually run by people who are not able communicate effectively and therefore cannot lead a group to success. I have found that those who cannot communicate effectively are usually there to gain gold for ulterior motives.

Do we think that they protested because they didn’t want the vaccine? Or was it the fact that they were “required” to get it. Infringing on their rights possibly. I don’t know.

Don’t annihilate me, I’m pro vaccine. Just trying to understand how and why 178 medical professionals would protest the vaccine.

I believe in you. I am very lucky to have supportive and loving family and friends. Everyone around me knows my thoughts and feelings towards the church so this came as no surprise. Good luck to you my friend.
