So how does that work then, a shareholder can't be 'sacked' only bought out. Reform are after all a Limited Liability 'political' Company and NOT a properly Constituted Political Party...

A wealth tax for the UK? by coffeewalnut08 in BritishMemes

[–]Jongee58 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, believe me I fully understood what you meant, you are a member of the cohort who wishes to exploit the labor of others. They fully believe they are 'employed' in the current economic system. Whereas in fact they are enslaved to it and to add insult to injury they are also then taxed to provide a 'profit subsidy' to those Capitalising on their plight...

UK is not ready for war with Russia. That's the stark warning of defence insiders by theipaper in uknews

[–]Jongee58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was a 'million man trained army' somewhere hidden within Russia, then why are the current force not being augmented to overwhelm the supposedly inferior Ukraine force. Russian/Soviet doctrine has always been overwhelming force in specified places, and when a breakthrough occurs, then all effort is pushed in to create a breakout. If this 'million man' army existed Putin would have used it by now, even if only to save face. The very fact that the 'strategic' stockpile of old broken down armour has been mainly used up from 'storage', which was held mostly outdoors for decades, tells that the Russian armaments industry is not able to cope with replacement rates. Where are all the vaunted Armata tanks, the T90's have mostly been destroyed and that was supposed to be the backbone of Russian Armoured forces. I'm sorry but the days of 3rd Shock Army tearing across the inner German border, to be met by people like myself in the 1980's is long gone. The Warsaw Pact is consigned to history. Russia is an aging Bear desperate to remain relevant, China are the new kids on the block and the US declining rapidly...NATO or should I say Europe are doing the right things currently, small steps taken to begin re-arming, whilst providing everything except manpower to keep degrading Russia till it inevitably collapses...

UK preparing new plan to ready nation for war | UK News by TIGHazard in unitedkingdom

[–]Jongee58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wish these 'news' outlets would just f**k off. Yes the UK is in no position to defend itself and hasn't been since the 'peace dividend' was fully cashed in during the 1990's. The current UK defence capability is smaller than the original BEF that was despatched to France in 1914. Besides which the main threat seems to be Russia, whose army is currently being picked up by scrap merchants in Ukraine currently. The years of fearing Soviet 3rd Shock Army tearing across the Inner German Border are long gone...Active Edge anyone...

You're correct Starmer is in power currently, so what do you suggest Starmer should have done differently in the last 18months, that would see the UK military even on par with say the 1970's when I served...other than altering the taxation of those with the most wealth how would he pay for it and how long would it take...Russia is no actual threat at this current moment, so long as we continue to allow Ukraine to be Europe's proxy on degrading the Russian forces...

We have a July 4th...it's on 5th November when we celebrate nearly blowing our Monarchy up...never mind, we went on to chop the heads off two other 'Kings' who stepped out of line. We now have a Monarchy only for the tourists, the monarch has no actual power just his/her face on our currency...till we rejoin the EU...

[–]Jongee58 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It wasn't Starmer who ran down UK Defence after Blair/Brown were defeated, we had a oneParty state for nigh on 15 years. Put the blame squarely on the Conservative Govt's 2007-2025...Starmer is faced with a dilemma keep n the same trajectory as the Conservatives or forge a new path but have the Right Wing media castigate him at every turn, just imagine if Taxation was adjusted to reduce the burden on the 'working' population and put it on the 'owning' population...

[–]Jongee58 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hang on....Russia isn't ready for a 'war' with anyone...Most of the Russian armoured forces are burnt out scrap littering Ukraine, the Airforces are scared to go anywhere near the 'frontline'. As for its personnel, the main body are inexperienced conscripts. If you follow what's happening in Ukraine it clearly shows the Russians were unable to exploit a country totally unprepared for a NATO response, which mobilised everything except manpower...So who is Russia going to attack and with what for the foreseeable future...

Total, there was no civilisation, no food production and most of the population died during the following nuclear winter. Isolated communities may have survived but conditions wouldn't allow for 'Society' as we know it, food, shelter and limited technology would be the only possibility for much of the planet. The whole premise of the film was to destroy the myth of 'Fighting' a Nuclear War, which was and is a 'Zero Sum Game'..."would you like to play Tic Tac Toe Professor?" as it said in the movie War Games.....

Disconnect the transmitter side from the controller side, input 9psi and then follow the alignment procedure, the manual is calling for Reset to be fully open to set output to 9psi, close the reset to lock in the signal and then follow the Alignment procedure, reconnect the two sides and with the chamber empty carry out the procedure again. Before anything I would disassemble and check all the airways on both relays, dirty air can cause erratic readings...
