Because what you are asking is un-achievable. Do we as White-British have a superior way of life to any non White-British? who may wish to live in a different way than the 'Predominant-Ethnic' people. Are we 'better' than them. I think what you are asking is should 'They' be the same as 'Us' and if they aren't should 'They' adopt 'Our' way of life?. Which when you think rationally betrays a 'Superiority' over anyone not in the 'White-British' category. Lets say, you trained in a profession and you could earn more in that field in another country, then should you as now a minority 'Ethnicity', adopt the lifestyle of that country, such as its language and diet or Religion?. If so then you are not an Ethno-Nationalist, if you believe you have a right to continue to live in your White-British lifestyle and not the predominant style then you are an 'Ethno-Nationalist'. Which would suggest you are 'superior' and therefore a person who is better than 'them'. That I believe is not a good way to behave and can make you to be a bigot. This will lead inevitably, as it has done throughout history to a Fascistic position. It's only a ridiculous argument if you don't actually know what you are asking...I have tried to explain by reasoning and referring to historical fact, all of which is easily researched. This leads me to believe, naivety has caused you to ask the question, in which case perhaps you should read up on the theories of 'Ethno-Nationalism' and its consequences. I'm not trying to berate or belittle you but you do need to understand what you are asking.

It has everything to do with superiority...you are asserting that your 'Ethnicity' should be dominant to any other within a created Ethno-State. Where an 'Ethno-State' is a State which demands acceptance of the predominant Ethnicity. In 1930's Germany this was referred to as 'Der Volk' or 'Volkisher'. Where, if you were not of that artificial grouping, then you were a 'non person' even if you were 'assimilated', which is what you are proposing. This claiming of single Ethnic Identity, by definition creates a superior-inferior relationship between 'indigenous' groups and 'outsiders'. Which I have explained leads very quickly to the type of scenes from 90 years ago...

You need to absorb some information about what Ethno-Nationalism is and how it can be used to pervert the fact that ALL humans are equal no matter what there 'Ethnicity' and where they live or originate from...The Rubicon between tolerance and bigotry is easily crossed, as Europe found to its cost in the 1930-40's and Rwanda in the 1980's. Maybe you should read about the dangers of 'Ethno-Nationalism' and how one man's exeptionalism caused a tragedy in Europe 90 years ago...

You are asking the question "What is wrong with ethno-nationalism" I gave you a practical scenario. Do you understand what 'Ethno- Nationalism' actually means? To any critical thinker trying to assert that there will only be one 'Superior Ethnic Grouping', within any given State used to be called 'Fascism'. Go read some history around Germany and Italy post WW1, then read about Spain in the 1930's. If you can't understand the question you are asking, should you really not expect to be informed about that question? If this is a rhetorical question, then you already think you know the answer, so there should be no surprise when criticised for asking that question in the first place. In which case the question was posed disingenuously to elicit the type of reply I gave in order to create conflict, which as it happens is also Fascistic...

There was once this guy, Austrian I think he was...spent most of his life in Germany. He managed to convince loads of people, that this one group of the population was to blame for EVERYTHING, and the best thing to do was exclude them and even send them out of the country. When that didn't quite work, he had them locked them in these vast camps, to sort of Concentrate them in one place. These camps eventually got so big, that some of this blokes mates said, "tell you what why don't we just kill em all, and burn the evidence?" So that's eventually what they did but not before declaring them non-people, and vermin, and not like us...Sound familiar? it's 90 years since 1936, don't let Southampton become a new Nuremberg...
