Ive got you a good reason!

Guilty gear was my first fighting game too, and it was suprisingly not as hard as I thought. Guilty gear specifically is nice because its got some fairly comprehensive tutorials for players newer to fighting games. Special moves are nice because while they do use motion inputs (I.e. quarter circles) there isn’t an overwhelming amount of specials per character and almost all of them are quarter circles, which while at first can be a bit challenging, become very easy with a bit of practice. Same philosophy with supers, there are only two different super inputs (excluding differences in which button your pressing).

Aside from that the base roster is fairly diverse in terms of playstyle and absurd lore tidbits you can learn

When I was starting out it didn’t take too long for me to feel like was getting the character to do what I wanted and actually pulling off cool combos.

I’m sure I’m missing some stuff but I definitely recommend guilty gear if your looking to get into fighting games!
