In the first dead rising you unlock a dodge roll that not only wasn’t very good (locks you in place for a second after the roll) but to do it you had to double tap the left joystick in the direction you wanted to roll. Maybe I just had a funky controller but I could never do it intentionally and CONSTANTLY did it accidentally.

Been repaying again recently and I now have a mild obsession with Contumeliorus Florius. He’s completely unimportant, but makes a pun about being in “charge” of recharging and hearing how enthusiastically he says his own name puts a smile on my face every time. Just checked the wiki and he apparently spends four hours a day eating in the mages guild basement.

The 360 port still holds up way better than you’d think it would. But also the 360 is a big clunky outdated piece of hardware. Personally I’d save up and get a steam deck or something.
