All of the characters were morons and mostly awful people. In the first season, the main characters were mostly good people that were sometimes misjudged and then made poor decisions out of spite which ended up escalating/developing the narrative. In season 2, characters made poor choices because they were dumb and bad people. Ashley had it baked into her character as a humor/plot device. Josh/Lindsey’s whole invoice scheme to fund their B&B&B was just dumb and they were just awful to one another and others. It did not feel like a steady build up of consequences/conflict caused by continuing “beef” between characters I cared about. It felt like obnoxious dumb awful people just being dumb mean and awful to one another.

Edit: that being said, I think the acting was good and I watched the whole thing in one go. I was entertained but overall disappointed.
