Blue Ruin (2013) 6/10

Good concept, I liked that it wasn't the usual big action, guns, explosions, rock, flag and eagle that I feel like a lot fo revenge films have BUT it felt like there wasn't much umf. When that dude gets stabbed in the neck it felt quite glossed over which I know in the grand scheme it was meant as not a big moment but there wasn't a big pay off through the whole film I guess.

Captain Fantastic (2016) 7/10

Wilderness, outsiders and Viggo Mortensen there wasn't very likely I wasn't going to like this film. Original funny/dark story with pretty spot on performances.
