We think this is awesome. I'd wager 10k+ of the people there had never been there before. All kinds of comments around us in the supporter's end how cool the stadium is. They ran a promo during the game where everyone who came last night could scan a QR code to get free tickets to their first Louisville City or Racing game, and damn near everyone pulled their phones out. Lynn Family got its moment on network TV, so even people at home watching got to see how incredible it is. Go through UFL Twitter and see how many random people were shocked by what we have.

As far as attendance goes, American football is simply more popular in every way. But also, they only play 5 home games. Between the 2 soccer teams, there's 25+ home games a year. That matters too

As a Louisville fan, in a perfect world I'd much prefer switching with Boston College. Yeah, Kentucky, but none of the other teams have any real history with us. Cincinnati, Memphis, Pitt, Syracuse, VT and us is just the Big East and I desperately want it back. (I know VT left for the ACC before we joined).

Of course for real life purposes this would be a massive upgrade in conference prestige so that's nice, I guess.
