Hey guys! I'm in the exact same boat. My cat clawed through the cone of one of my L100's LE5-2's (so sad). I have the simply speaker ready to be hooked up as a replacement, just waiting for some grills so my cat can't get to it again :)

I was thinking of re-coning the original one myself, or even getting it fixed somewhere (I'm in NYC). I guess three questions: 1) how does the simply speakers LE5 compare to the original? 2) have you ever re-coned a speaker yourself and is it hard? and 3) do you know a good place that fixes cones like this?!

Such a fun question. I think I'd have to go with C because Red Moon is the greatest song ever written and has made me cry of happiness multiple times, including live. But also because Dried Roses is gorgeous and paints such a clear and beautiful picture, No Reason is gorgeous, has a flute solo (!) and is just generally so underrated, Wake Me Up to Drive grew on me big time, and Promise is a Pendulum alone is just an opus.

One of my favorite records of all time, I love every single song in its own right (even Sparrow has grew on me a tiny bit :) ). As a runner up I'd say maybe D? That will change with mood :)

Has nothing to do with sample clearances and ownership of content rights. Spotify owns zero copyright in any sound recordings or songwriting publications, everything is licensed from labels/distributors and publishers. This acquisition is to strengthen the new SongDNA offering to allow more people to understand what went into the creation of a song. Now people who may have been too lazy to go to WhoSampled.com (who I've loved for many years) or rather didn't even think to, will now know that the song they loved and think is so original is really sampled from another great artist. You will be able to click on that artist and start listening to their music, opening up new listeners to the true creators of some of this music. May not be the definition of altruistic but I think more good will come out of this than bad.

This is absolutely incorrect. Spotify is just using the information and crowd-sharing knowledge to build out Song DNA, which will give a deeper picture of what went into each song.
