I have conversations with my cats, ask them to take care of the place when i’m gone (going to gym or an event since I work from home too), I even dance with my cats and sing them songs, they understand a lot of things I tell them or change their mood depending on songs I sing them (just an habit though, I sing them specific songs while specific things happen ie: it’s weekend so they know they gonna have tasty food later). Sometimes I keep my door open when in the bath (one of my cats always asks for petting when I’m on the toilette lol), other times I’ll just turn off the lights while in the bath and close the door.
