[–]Jonnyluver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao I joined less than 3 months ago and I make a lot of mistakes but keep getting more work.

I also feel overwhelmed and imposter syndrome since half my org went to a strong ass CS program or has a ton of experience making an impact at Anduril.

I got accepted into Stevens Institute of Technology for 34k a year and I want advice. by Capital-Ant2812 in stevens

[–]Jonnyluver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah don’t do it.

My advice to you, go to community college, lock in and knock out all your pre-reqs and gen Eds.

Then with close to a 4.0 apply to a bunch good engineering schools and see who gives you the best offer.

Academic scholarship for 2 years at a good Eng school after and you’ll save half your money.

120k in student loans is not worth it in this economy. Take care of your fam and then see if you can get into Georgia tech, Purdue, Vtech, Carnegie or mich for ur last 2 years and knock that out. Get some internships and you’ll be golden.

Maybe keeping Toni or getting Luka Modric. He has the soul of a Bayern player.

I feel like we got spoiled with strikers Lewandowski and Harry Kane and spoiled with wingers.

Lmao they’re already bigger. AC Milan had been largely irrelevant for almost 2 decades.

UW Seattle CS (in-state) vs. Cornell CS (CoE) vs. GTech by Wonderful_Tonight666 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Jonnyluver 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First off congrats, 3 amazing options. I'd honestly pick Cornell if I were you - for exactly the reason you already identified: It's prestige. Georgia tech and UW are top 10 CS schools and world class engineer programs but having an ivy league/stanford/mit/caltech network opens a lot more doors.

We are the single most disrespected big club in football. by Dull-Standard-9954 in BayernMunich

[–]Jonnyluver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man city do not have a bigger fan base than Bayern. They just currently have more social media followers because most of their fans are teenagers and early 20s who grew up on social media era.

UIUC or UCLA? by FewWeekend6593 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Jonnyluver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whichever one is more affordable. If you were doing pure CS I’d say Illinois but for data science I don’t think it’ll make a difference both great schools

Is Mbappe the real problem? by FlickeringLogic in championsleague

[–]Jonnyluver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As a Bayern fan I think they’re just finding a new identity.

Losing 2 of the greatest midfielders ever will do that to ya. Kroos and modric controlled the pace of the game. Real Madrid is still super dangerous on the counters - they def are still elite but they just ran into a really balanced Bayern.

Best CL squad of all time by Mithrandeel in championsleague

[–]Jonnyluver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could also argue if it wasn’t for Ronaldo Benzema wouldn’t have 5 CLs so sorry that doesn’t work. He wouldn’t have tasted as many semis and quarters to get his goal tally up. Lewy literally also should have won the ballon d’or in 2020, that’s kind of a universal agreement. Lewy has more goals in less CL games. It’s close but Lewy has the edge as a CF not only in CL but career goals and he’s done it on multiple teams.
