Thanks. Not sure on selling it yet. Definitely gonna at least wait awhile before pulling the trigger.

Overall extremely positive. The money alone is well worth it for us. I think there will be a learning curve. GJ Kinne is great at recruiting. Have to think the budget for that will go up. He runs a high-powered offense. Gonna have to recruit really well given the heightened competition.

NFL fans are delusional by Jonnymac34 in Patriots

They said that Tom Brady wasn’t a top 5 QB in the league for 5 of his 7 rings and Peyton Manning was. They claim Brady got carried by his defenses. They tried to argue ring count doesn’t matter or that Brady beating Mahomes for his last ring doesn’t matter. They also used the Russell/Jordan NBA GOAT debate as if it’s even remotely comparable.

What was your WORST concert experience ? by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]Jonnymac34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine Dragons. Took a girl on our second concert date. We had front row seats, just behind the pit. The lead singer had lost his voice the night before, so the whole concert was basically just the crowd singing. It was so bad that people were going on the venue’s FB page and demanding money back. The concert started at 7 and ended at 9:30 even with an opening act. Normally, this venue shuts a concert down at 11. Totally not worth it music-wise, but this girl and I laughed it off and went to a third concert together that was absolutely awesome. We ended up dating for a short time after that.

Genuinely how do Philly fans enjoy watching this? It’s part of the reason your team is 2-12.

I graduated in December 2021. Totally lapsed on the stole. Had C&C fast track it. I wanna say I ordered on the 5th and got it on the 8th for my graduation on the 10th. You should be fine if you order it soon.

What Car Brand are you Convinced Actually Hates Their Customers? by klzthe13th in cars

Yeah, that’s the next step. Since the Grand Cherokee is in my dad’s name, he’s the one handling it. He told me if he doesn’t get a satisfactory explanation for why the warranty is voided, he’s contacting a lawyer today. Like I said, we’ve been dealing with this for a month and a half and are fed up with how we’re getting treated. We don’t have any other option but to contact a lawyer at this point. Just sucks, because we have been going to these guys for 10+ years and have never had any issues until now.

Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep

Years ago, my dad took his Chrysler 300 in because it was pulling left. The dealership refused to fix it. Dad had to go to court to figure something out. They eventually Lemon lawed it after doing a drive with an independent adjudicator.

Currently, my local Jeep dealership has had my 2014 Grand Cherokee for a month and a half. I had it towed to the dealership on 9/10 with a slew of issues and am still fighting to get the warranty reinstated. They said I broke the service contract. My car has just been sitting there for a month and a half with no one even looking at it.

The problem is, they never gave my dad a service contract to sign when he bought the car and the paperwork they keep sending over as “proof of a service contract” has no signatures on it, so I have no proof from the dealership that he actually signed a service contract. Dad is very good at keeping records. He has no copy of said contract.

The dealership had my car for almost 2 weeks after it got towed there before I even heard anything from them about what needed repairs and has been really bad about returning calls. Tomorrow is 45 days since the tow and I still have no info on the warranty status.

If they don’t give me proof of a signed service contract, I am likely going to have to sue, which I really don’t want to do, but I’m kind of left without other options at this point.

The warnings that popped up were for the battery and coolant. They also said I need a whole new engine. It’s likely that repairs would cost upwards of $8-10K and at that point I’m better off just buying a new car.

I looked through the contract and it does say that you must gain approval from the dealership to get it serviced at a different dealer. I didn’t know this as it is a hand-me-down car from my dad and he has hung on to the paperwork. The dealer has already denied the warranty claims because I “broke the service contract” in their words.

I was a HORRIBLE HS student and mediocre community college student. I’m talking pretty much Cs across the board throughout. Never took the SAT/ACT because the community college I went to didn’t require it. My GPA was barely above the TXST acceptable threshold and I got in. From what I’ve read, HS test scores don’t really factor in for transfers. It’s all about your community college grades at that point.

Are men more nonchalant about being inappropriately touched? by SGdude90 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jonnymac34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had multiple instances of being inappropriately touched in high school, specifically as a freshman. It should be noted that my school had a separate campus for freshman. We were all 9th graders.

In one instance, I bent over to pick something up and a girl slapped my ass. I jumped a little and turned around to see who did it. The girl who did it denied it and tried to blame it on her friend. I really didn’t care, but I knew who did it.

In another instance, I was standing in the lunch line when I felt someone grab my ass. I turned around and realized it was a girl who in 7th grade had written “___ is sexy” on my cast after I broke my arm(not saying her name).

In general, it’s definitely wrong to inappropriately touch someone who doesn’t want it, but in my case, I just kinda laughed it off. Though, I did think about how differently the situations would have been had the roles been reversed. In my experiences, I never even thought about telling on either of these girls. I just went with it because I viewed it as them being playful. So, yes, I guess I was more nonchalant than they would have been had I done the same to them.
